danger19_80 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Will Rowett take it though. Leicester looking also and he played for them Quote
Armchair supporter supremo Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Sorry am I missing something here!? What has rowet done as a manager that's impressive, looks like he just plods from 1 job to the next achieving nothing Dean smith isn't exactly the most inspiring, but at least he's shown he can get a lot out of mediocre teams at this level Edited 2 hours ago by Armchair supporter supremo 2 Quote

But under Rudy and Suhail I suspect it won't work out because he won't be given the opportunity to do the job, just like Eustace wasn't. 6 Quote

Andy Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If I'm honest, I don't know that much about Rowett, but sounds like he's realistically as good as we're going to get, with the current whoppers overseeing it. 1 Quote

Seems ok in theory and the kind of style that's served us best over the years if you've got the players suited to it, Tbh as long as we play a traditional back 4 that's a good enough start for me 😅 Quote
Dreams of 1995 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Real shame for Elliot Jackson. He’s trying his best as a journalist but the club have effectively froze him out. They want him gone and they’ll do whatever they can to get rid of him, including clearly feeding false information. The message will be clear if that happens - write things we do not like and we will make your job untenable. What a very strange situation we find ourselves in. Is there another club in the football league that bans its local journalists? Does this type of behaviour not get considered in the “fit and proper” tests? 3 Quote

Loves the club despite its millions of faults and don’t want to get binned, have to move, resettle the family etc? If so I hope he stays on as an employee rather than a manager/head coach. He has been here for some time now, but we don’t hear much from him. I know the feeling from my own “work life”. That’s my take on it too. Quote

speedies gonna get ya. Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Every new manager is a gamble. However experienced, even more so working for that shower. Klopp would struggle with Rudy and Pasha above. I want to stay up ofcourse but all a bit irrelevant while Raos still the owners. I would usually be quite excited and optimistic now about a fresh start and new manager. They have robbed me of that feeling too. 1 Quote

I think the club are spiteful enough to ensure he gets the wrong info. Come off it, Jackson's worse than useless, always has been. That isnt to say it was fair for the Club to ban him. 1 Quote
