  1. I've now got visions of him shouting that in the middle of Tiggis when the waiter asked him how his meal was. πŸ˜„
  2. My daughter wanted the 3rd shirt for Xmas & went down with my Mum a couple of weeks ago to get one. All sold out! Woman in the shop said they'd been sold out for a couple of months & there were no plans for any more arriving. She did end up with the away shirt but, as she was going to ask my sister to get her that one for Xmas anyway, demand has therefore not been met & will not be. I planned to get the home shirt after Xmas. If no more stock arrives (assuming there's none in store either) then demand has once again not been met. Dress it up however you like, but it's piss poor & would not wash in any other retail sector nor any other football club for that matter. Looks like the Retro shirt from on here will be getting more outings than originally planned!
  3. What if Kaminski had no arms?
  4. Yes it certainly is. I did the pic by putting a background on MS Teams then screenshotting it - I mirrored the background so that looked right but didn't think about Teams also mirroring me & the shirt - it looked fine to me as that's how I see it when I look in the mirror! πŸ˜† For those also wondering, my left eye is on the other side of my face as well! πŸ˜‚
  5. Ok folks, sorry It's taken a while, been busy on official football business 🀣
  6. Just got back in the house to find mine has also arrived. Not tried it on yet but will post a pic when I do - I'm not bothered! πŸ˜… Thanks to @Herbie6590 and anyone else involved in the process.
  7. FFS! Never mind mate, circumstances beyond your control. I'm sure you'll sort it. Either that or you've a lot of driving to do! πŸ˜„
  8. Agree on the Le Tiss goal at Ewood. I remember all 4 sides of the ground standing up to applaud it. Sheer class. Le Tiss was also very gracious & returned the applause to all 4 sides.
  9. How about MGP's old song - Jon Dahl Tomasson Tra la la la la ( To the tune of Brown Girl in the Ring for those of you who don't remember - mind u, if you're too young to remember MGP then trying to explain who Boney M are is going to be a real struggle! πŸ˜…)
  10. Great results for us tonight. Come on lads, bring on Sunday!!
  11. Yep, I'm trying to figure out how we'll line up as well!
  12. Bollocks! Dingles with a 94th minute goal!
  13. She sells sanctuary is a good shout. How about Belter by Gerry Cinnamon? Love this live version:
  14. 😁 and an additional 'F' for completeness
  15. Good website that one. Cheers.
  16. We are Rovers, we are Rovers, super Rovers, from the North anyone? Not heard it sung for years & was always one of my favourites.
  17. Yes, main game on tomorrow - Amazon are showing Prem games on Prime Video though. Rovers with a WLWLWL form with this one landing on a 'L', an ex-manager in town, main game live on Sky.......what could possibly go wrong!? Come on Rovers, prove me wrong.
  18. Might not be a popular opinion, but I thought Szmodics was bloody awful until he got the assist. Running around a lot but achieving nothing. There were also a couple of other moments where his laziness resulted in us losing momentum in attack. I was actually raging at that point. Cue 5 mins later & a great run & cross for BBD. After that he seemed a different player & was involved in everything. Unlucky with the header & a lovely goal. Perhaps my coaching methods aren't that out of date, who'd've thought that calling someone a 'lazy c**t' in today's world would get such a positive reaction!πŸ˜… Anyway, I guess it shows what do I know! Great win, going for a shower & then off to the pub to celebrate. Onwards & upwards!
  19. Think Markanday might've been the 19th man today. He was out with the rest of the squad doing the warm ups & drills before the game.
  20. Just got off the phone to my Dad to arrange picking him up for the game (he's a ST holder btw): Me: "right Dad, I'll pick you up about half one" Dad: "don't bother. I'm not going. They pissed me off on Tuesday with that dicking around in our own penalty area shit!" Take note JDT. If a ST holder takes this view, you've not much chance of many walk-ons. On the plus side, we usually win if he doesn't attend, so COYB.
  21. My first ever away game that one. We were about 10 mins late getting there after trying to find somewhere to park. Ended up with my dad's mate paying some locals to "mind your car for you mister?" As we walked in, we heard the cheer for City's 1st. Not a good start & it certainly didn't get any better! At least the car was fine when we got back to it! πŸ˜„
