You've got 3 centre half's in there. Maybe you need another physical presence but without looking at Fulhams lineup are they a big side? Couple of centre backs and mitrovic? -

Dolan deserves a start for me. I think we would benefit from his pressing. Buckley needs to be left out, his recent performances have been poor. -

Kaminski Lenihan van hecke Wharton Nyambe travis Rothwell Giles Dolan Gallagher Khadra I'd mix the front 3 up. Gally through the middle and use the wide forwards as attacking wingers. Ditch the false 9 -
They wanted to give dack another 90 for the under 23s on Monday. I think you can still give him that but you've got to give 10 mins on Saturday. Even if he's way off the pace and doesn't touch the ball. Dack can anticipate a chance, he isn't afraid to put himself in the position and he can finish. We desperately need that intent.

It's one of those... it's a good point if you go on and win the next two. -

I've got it in my head that he had hit the yellow card limit. If not them I'd stick him on the bench in place of davenport. -

Buckleys suspension comes at a good tike for the lad. He looks like he needs a bit of a breather mentally, the chances he has missed recently have impacted his overall performance. With lenihan missing mowbray has talked about the possibility of going to flat back 4. And with 2 goals scored in 6 games there's certainly an argument to change it up. For me I wouldn't ditch the back 5 just yet. It's given us a solid platform to build upon and is a large part of what contributed to our good run, maybe we need to switch tactic if we go one nil down but I'd stick with it for now. My team Kaminski Van hecke Ayala Wharton Nyambe Travis Rothwell Pickering(if fit) Khadra Dolan Brereton Subs Keeper, Johnson, JRC, Giles, davenport, Hedges, Gallagher. If Brereton is getting little joy then play Brereton as a 9 with dolan and khadra wide. -

Rothwell about to go down as one of the great villains. I could understand the desire to go to a premier league team (which he could if he waited 6 months) but to Bournemouth. Nah that's a snake move. Problem is I wouldn't sell him to Bournemouth for anything. Venkys don't want to sell but mowbray is taking the pragmatic view. Really hard to see a way back for him if his move doesn't go through. -

Teams announced and the club still haven't put an excuse for Rothwells absence which makes me think there's something in the rumours. -

I think the only change I'd consider is buckley into centre mid with travis (this may end up being a long term position, see transfer thread) That opens up room for another attacking slot somewhere. Perhaps Deyo on the right Gally through the middle, Butterworth if you really believed in him, dolan or dack if they were fit. Saying that I wouldn't complain about davenport in for johnson either. -

I'd hope he could challenge Nyambe. Capable of starting in the bundesliga so you would think he is coming here to compete for a first team place. -

From looking around various videos on the internet, his previous history, and looking at the FM database I like the sound of Zeefiuk. Loan to buy seems smart, I hope this one comes off. -

A fair point. I think the emphasis here would be on attacking and taking the game to Wigan. I also think that Nyambe is really top of the list (behind brereton) of ayers that should be rested. He's prone to muscle injuries, he's given a large workload and we haven't got another right back/right wing back that is currently fully fit. So then you look at who can play right wing back and it's probably buckley who I wouldn't be risking either. Play a back 4 and you've way more options. I would like to see young carter have another go because he did okay at right back earlier In the season. -

Surely the whole point of an advantage is to see if there is an advantage then pull it back. The fouled side should not be disadvantaged. It literally cannot be an advantage if brereton doesn't fully regain his balance after the first foul. I don't think it was an advantage that came to nothing it felt like he just missed it. -

Are van hecke and Khedra achievable targets? What do people think it would cost to sign them? Couple of mill each with a high sell on fee?? -

If breretons contract was to expire at the end of next season Would we still not get some compensation for him being under 24 or would he be over that? (We would be entitled to some provided we offered him a contract) If true that means his value at the end of this season won't be as lowered as say armstrongs was. So in theory if we don't go up could we still get £20mil for him? -
Tony Mowbray Discussion
BlackburnEnd75 replied to Neal's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
We were shocking defensively at the start of the season. 4 clean sheets on the bounce to match 4 wins shows the turn around in the team. Mostly without ayala too. I've stuck the boot in when he's deserved criticism and it's only fair that he gets praise when things go well. And since the Fulham debacle things have been going very well. Long may it continue.
