Ah, we’ve not conceded a goal by losing possession by fucking around at the back for a while. -

Little old Blackburn punching above their weight to be able to compete on the last day of the season against the might of Millwall, Luton, Coventry and a newly promoted Sunderland. -

Even without Whiteman and Johnson available for midfield 🙄 -

Who won’t be cheering them? Who won’t be getting behind them? I really don’t get this “you’re not allowed to say what you feel if it is negative” attitude on a message board! -

From the Preston forum. As I said at the time, I’ve never seen a set of fans practically have their season ended with a draw, and yet celebrate like they’d won a trophy because it also fucked us up. -
They spent about 70 years at the very lowest level they possibly could, hence the stat, but yeah since they started climbing the pyramid they’ve never gone back down a level until today.

Still a massive cock-up. When the tweet the night before stated that ‘Ticket holders will be given priority access’, only to then on the day make them queue over an hour and then turn them away is a shambolic way to treat your potential customers. Still, it sold out so they probably hit financial targets so they wont care.

Same with Cole. When Cole was at Newcastle, a young me naively thought he was nowhere near top class as most of his goals were scored from within 8 or 9 yards. It dawned on me quickly it’s a skill within itself which a lot of strikers don’t possess. Rhodes had it, albeit at a lower level. And that’s why a player with average pace, not particularly skilful, little power on his shots and not aerially dominant scored 156 goals across 6 seasons.

I was about to reply to @arbitrowithout practically the same reply. From where we were, and how we have shot ourselves in the foot, it just feels a huge anticlimax. I know that, across the three games, a couple of goals in our favour by 3.15 tomorrow would change all that. -

Peterborough had 6 wins from their last 10 games. Cambridge had 5 wins from their last 10 games. Teams in form at the right time at the end of the season. I fear we’ve far less chance than I’d have given either of those at the start of today. -

I’ll watch it, but fully expect what will be a monumental failure from mid-March onwards to be completed by Rovers by 5pm. Around 10/1 to get top 6 now which I feel is about right. -
I didn’t mind it. I wanted Brentford to win, or at least salvage something, for reasons we cannot mention.

Apologies if already mentioned, but now the relegation issue is decided I see that Preston - Sunderland is the second Sky game. -
This season was the first one where my match-going has been seriously inconvienced by games being moved by Sky. I'm hoping it's a one-off due to the fact we started the season so well, although its still bizarre we have been on more than any other club. If the same happened next season, and with this TV deal also on the horizon, then I probably would look at not renewing.

Does anybody else, in a moment of quiet and calm during the week, keep finding themselves just sitting there thinking "Ryan, why didn't you just put your foot through it FFS" 😒

Are all Championship games not on the red button? Just for when we inevitably go a goal up so we can flick over to the others. -
Exactly. The only thing we can go off is GB saying he accepts responsibility. So I'm taking him at face value and blaming him.
-
Waggot and the Secretary completed the paperwork. The problem was they didn't have the required information to complete it until the last minute, hence why it was late. Who's fault is that no-body knows, but Saint Gregg took responsibility so I'm guessing he knows he's partly to blame. But all you Saint Gregg lovers keep shouting "But he can't complete the paperwork".

Yeah good point. I mean, Luton only appointed Edwards in November, but other than that 👍👍
