  1. I agree with your post, but those players would probably have way more than 4 goals if Arma wasn't blasting 30 yard glory shots half a dozen times a match, when not only 1, but often 2 players are in way better positions waiting to be played in. Let's not get sidetracked by one good ball in today that no one had gambled on. On AA in general, it's great he's in our team. Scores goals, gets players sent off, is fairly versatile, and very importantly for me, he stops teams pushing up too much as they're terrified of the pace on the break. Helps our tactics and gameplay. We now have 2 anchor points of great talent in the team, TK at the back, and AA up front. Not a bad framework to build around. Keep up these additions in defense, and I reckon we could go places.
  2. I enjoyed that too. Who does he sound a bit like? It's been bugging me. Is it Rio Ferdinand?
  3. You are wrong! It'll be a massive deflection or a dodgy penalty. 😛
  4. Moebrau, I like it! Is he from the same manager school as Allardicio?!
  5. Yeah, but did you see the long chats he had with Boro players about it. If he was chatting specifics with them, he can't change back on match report. Unless he was saying- sorry, I didn't see it. Doubt that though. May escape a ban I think because of the daft rules.
  6. You don't need to tell us about eye injuries: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11676/12012501/corry-evans-blackburn-midfielders-injury-was-similar-to-car-accident-or-hammer-impact But both were accidental, it happens in sport unfortunately. You were diddled out of the pen today, possibly a red, but again it happens, not sure you're going to get much sympathy on that front here. We've got away with nailed on penalties against Boro, and Millwall, which both helped earn us the 3pts on the day. But I could name you about half a dozen decisions that have gone against us this season that cost us points. 🤷‍♂️ Good luck to your lad on his recovery, unlucky today, tough call, good luck for rest of season. Hope we meet you in the playoff final, we get a dodgy 89th min penalty to win, and Warnock spontaneously combusts on the sideline. 😛😛😂😂
  7. Thought the ref was gonna give foul against him. He's given every decision their way since the kung fu kick.
  8. Hey no spoilers! 😛😛 I guessed Glen Hoddle right last time. It's actually genius as a family show. Kids like it cos of the animal costumes, even tho they have no idea who the people revealed are. And it's almost palatable as a singing comp, when the alternative is 2hrs of "Barbie-Life in the Dreamhouse."
  9. I agree, relegation can't be put on Mowbray's head. But I was just about to say similar to Gumboots. What about now? If we fail to reach his target of top 6 (and imo we will miss it by a country mile), will he have "failed" then?
  10. Thanks for heads up. Didn't know that. Will probably watch first few hours. Despite our owners I'm going team India. No better sight than a frustrated aussie when a cricket match starts slipping away. 😀 Been chippy this test series too right. I'll be trying to listen in on the stump mics.
  11. The problem being if time marches on, and things get progressively worse, then this sentiment can get eroded away. I truly hope that doesn't happen, as I agree with you, he's a decent bloke that has done some good things, and deserves to be appreciated for that. But barring a remarkable turnaround and barnstorming 2nd half of the season, if TM's reign continues into next season, I do fear how sour it could become. I really don't want our best manager of the last decade to become universally disliked by the fans. It would be particularly galling considering he has stated he would never allow that to happen. There comes a time he has to be true to his words. That line in the sand surely can't be far off.
  12. Ha, nope, I'm not that arrogant..... not always anyway. 😉 I trusted the commentators judgement, they obviously had a replay angle we didn't. Was more they were making out it was miles onside, and a few of us thought off instantly from our angle. I still haven't seen the other angle tbh. Was it miles on? Or was it one of those split second calls that we all scream about, but let's be honest are often very hard for linos to get right consistently. Put it this way, I was screaming at JR to release the ball, and felt he dwelt too long. Maybe that clouded my judgment. 🤷‍♂️
  13. Is there any free managers at the agency better than Mowbray? Please God tell me there's some managers on their books better than TM. 🤞🤞
  14. If Stoke stop that Rovers team from scoring again I'm giving up. So much potential in the starting lineup. If the new defender can help stop goals at the back, we could all be happy by 5pm. 🤞
  15. If we don't win this game I'm moving up a level to the Mowbray out, out camp.
  16. Hi everyone, I'm hiding posts thick and fast, so we're all just wasting each others time really. Whilst I appreciate people are angry and frustrated after yesterday, taking it out on fellow fans isn't the answer. You've got the manager, the players, the owners, and many more involved at the club to go at if you're looking for someone to blame for our predicament. But attacking other fans (in both directions) isn't acceptable on here. Can we please calm that side of things down a bit. Thanks.
  17. I think most people are, but there comes a time when taking that risk outweighs stagnating under TM.
  18. 😯😯😯 Wow! Thanks. Better crack a Sat night beer to console myself. Can't see any way back for him now, unless he wins like 3 or 4 on bounce.
  19. Can I check is this the first time you've joined the camp? Missed match today, just want a gauge of how bad things are.
