Unsuitable, unworthy, irresponsible "ownership"!
-
I know Dave Sheron is from Middlesbrough and he was the agent at the centre of the Bolton court case. I couldn't find any Middlesbrough connection with Mike, who was born in Liverpool... What's in a name, eh? And there is a big difference between Kenny Rogers and our Eamonn!

WATR (The Rovers Trust)
Leonard Venkhater replied to Ozz's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Good to hear! My sense is that Venky's will avoid the Trust, simply because they have gone public. Whether they will respond to anyone with business credibility, who contacts them privately is a known unknown-to me anyway. My "fantasy" remains a partnership between Venky's and a local, Rovers centred, football business aware board of directors....but I guess they jettisoned a very savvy board of directors, when they arrived. Just think where we could have been, if they hadn't made such a ridiculous yahoo!! -
WATR (The Rovers Trust)

I don't disagree with any of the messages in the statement. It reminds supporters that there is a group of well meaning people still batting for them. It also sends a message to the FA, EFL and even the government. However, here is the rub. It is highly unlikely to engage the Venky's. They certainly don't respond to public letters and statements. In my view, the only sniff of a chance-and it is only a sniff- of getting any response from Venky's is via private communication. I don't believe for one second that this is the way things should be, but I think it is the reality. Personally, I cannot see any progress unless and until they sell up and go. Trouble is many of us could be dead by then! -
I disagree. They still have games, where they can get something and Everton's run -in is a nightmare...

And I did try to persuade my son not to go today. This spineless team was never worth such a journey! Vinegar sponge, indeed... -

No ....and he was hit and miss even before that. The first half of this season was his best for the club, but you can't be relying on the likes of Rothwell imo... -

That's good to know. With your pen name, I was worried you might be working in a Detention Centre! -

Hahahahahaha!..Worse than Kean or Coyle??!!! The truth is that not one of their managerial appointments are up to the standard of Furphy, Lee, Smith, Kendall or Mackay. The question is...why? -

But there are a number of players, who had very poor games! -

Just as we were juxtaposing Gallagher's abysmal miss and the worldy that won the game, let's remember that Paul Ince's Reading could have had 5 or 6. These last few weeks are the season I feared last summer. Mowbray out now and let's try to salvage the season! -
Good management imo

I bet that had an impact on Lenihan's response to his own contract offer...

Yep. I think next season we will see the problems we all feared for this season-unless we go up. My youngest is a super loyalist and bites back at anyone, who he sees as pessimistic etc. Last night, he was flat, downcast and "resigned" to the fact that the club had blown it with their neglectful January window-blown it for the supporters and these honest, young players... Other teams do seem to have the momentum at the moment, but if we can just accumulate enough points ...until April, when the cavalry comes.... Then again, the trouble is that our team seems to have the goody goody Kevin Costners, while the others have the dirty fighters like Jack Palance... Maybe we should have signed Volodymyr Palahniuk..Those Ukranians don't mess about.... -

We had the same conversation yesterday. We wished we had some of that Speedie, street wise shithousery in our own front line. And you are right about the weak referee. Mitrovic is still a **** cheat though. Not sure if he plays the violin! If Dolan was booked, shouldn't Mitrovic have been sent off? He " simulated" twice... -

Yeah....And I missed our FA Cup game v Utd-Graham's excellent goal -and probably our best team goal in years away at Cardiff.......because of Coyle! Funny old game lol
