Will Joshua be content being a second or third tier boxer, one who up and comers fight en route to the top and/or an occasional mandatory challenger? A sort of Whyte, Parker, Chisora kind of career. I doubt he'll be in the position to be the top dog after 2 losses to Usyk, and have the massive fights he had a while ago. A fight against Wilder may be his last big money spinner though.

Premier League 22-23

Wolves are run by an agent (Mendes?) On behalf of some Chinese guys who provide the money. The agent has a lot of contacts in Portugal, which is why they're all from there. Sure, it's probably 3rd party ownership, which is against the rules here but when have the rules mattered? After all we were/still are in a similar situation and the Premier League, FA et Al did nothing. -

Yes. Didn't Colin play for Forest in the mid 90s? Either way, it's good to see such clean, non corrupt and innocent people own our heritage. -

Could all these transfers be a form of money laundering I wonder? How much say does Colin Cooper have in all of this? It's all evidence that football is really corrupt and any dodgy person can use the Great British Washing Machine. -
The county game does produce a lot of flimsy players who do well in that system, but flop at international level. How many top 3 players have we had since Cook and Strauss retired? How many batting collapses?

I read the Forest owner is a shipping magnate with a shady past. I can't remember exactly what he is accused of doing in Greece, but 10 witnesses relating to his case seem to have died, possibly murdered. -
I saw a bit of Jerry when he had a show in the early days of Channel 5. I can see why the timid are freightened of him as he is probably as abrasive as Frankie Boyle, if not more so. The venue bottled it because of a mob on the Chinese data gathering site Tik Tok, and Twitter.

If you want a Danish connection for the music and want Metallica, then it has to be For Whom the Bell Tolls, Anesthesia,or Creeping Death. -

If he is worth £40m then Man City got the bargain of the century with Haarland. And a peak era Shearer would be worth £400m nowadays. -

A belated thanks for the reply. Livermore was always a thug and a spoiler. A mediocre Robbie Savage. -

We would have lost that last season. How bad was the Livermore foul that led to their goal? -

Man Utd are rotten from the board room to the youth team. Ten Haag will need at least 3 years to have a chance of a top 4 finish. You could sell all the 1st team squad to whoever wants them and not lose much sleep as they have no on the pitch intelligence, desire or ability to improve. However, doing that will expose for of the youngsters to the 1st team, and the famed youth set up has not really produced much great talent. Some reasonable Premier league players, but no amazing stars that would feature in a top team. -

That sounds a bit like Nadine Dorries' sideline. When she's not being mental in Parliament or on TV she writes novels. -

Something just feels right with this set up. I know the last couple of seasons we've been brilliant up until winter and then we've gone into relegation form, but it feels like something has changed. We probably won't be top six with our current squad, but there won't be the usual 16 game death spiral to crush all confidence and hope. -
Just seen the 2 minute highlights after work. Sure, it's only a League 2 team, but how many times in the 10 years has the attitude been 'oh well, I suppose we have to play this game' instead of 'lets go out there and batter them'? In the 3 games under JDT and Broughton it seems to be more the latter. Hopefully the confidence and spirit does not evaporate as soon as we lose 2 in a row.

Only 2 games in, and already it feels like a much more positive, purposeful scene at Rovers. There looks to be a structure on the pitch, and a manager/Head Coach who has a desire to improve and succeed. -

Sounds like we have a lot to improve on, but it is a win. I hope we get some players in now. -

Maybe so, but Jones' career has really faltered, and he has long been a meme. Constant injury problems too. But to go on topic, does it look like there is a change in the team in terms of formation, style etc.? -

Phillips needs to remember what happened to the last super young defender who got too big for his boots (Jones), or David May before that.
