  1. I know / follow a couple of dog trainers who use social media as pretty much their sole source of advertising/ promotion. You've got to know how to use it, its not enough to just put a page up, you've got to keep putting content out and engage with your followers
  2. Mowbray won't take us up. He's not a bad manager but he's very limited. However he's done enough this season to be allowed the chance to turn it around and see it through. No promotion, no contract.
  3. 8 points from 21 and 2 goals in 2022. We're not staring down the barrel of a death spiral. We're in the middle of one. This is why I wanted to wait to talk contracts for TM, to see if he'd got over this bizzare run of games he has in the second half of any season. He hasn't. Get rid in summer
  4. Parliamentary privilege. He's quote carefully with what he says on the topic outside of the commons
  5. https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2022/feb/06/neighbours-needs-good-friends-to-survive-after-uk-network-axes-iconic-soap A sad sad day
  6. Thought he showed some good movement. Was far from the worst player on the pitch, not discouraged by the debut
  7. We can't have any more games like that if we want to go up. Squad wise we've had a rough ride of it in January now we need to get back in the groove QUICK
  8. Farce of a booking. Went down easily but got nothing seconds earlier for staying on his feet whilst being manhandled
  9. Buckley has stood in the middle of the box miles offside a couple times now. Is there reasoning behind that?
  10. At best I keep half an eye on the U23s so not in the know but keep hearing good things about Ash Phillips at just 16. Can any one give more info about him? Do you think bigger teams will try and poach him? I know he's training with the first team but realistically, how far off appearing for the first team has team?
  11. Thought Zeefuik looked OK defensively at left back just got a little bit lost further forward at times. Could stick him at left back and let Giles go forward
  12. I know 5g causes covid so going for 6g is just totally irresponsible!!
  13. Good start, weird dodgy middle, good currently. If he gets us up give him a new contract
  14. Luton seem to be pushing on. 3 points off play offs.... horrible pricks
  15. There were some domestic abuse claims were there not? I think settled out of court so we didn't get to find out the full extent
  16. Doing the rounds on social media that Greenwood was arrested for kidnapping and punching his partner in November 20. Hushed up by united + injunctions etc. Seen posts from 5 months ago on reddit stating this. Disgusting if true makes their statement about not condoning violence of any sort a bit stupid.
  17. He's no trent but he can play a good ball into the box
  18. I'm holding out hope that the new signings take a few weeks to bed in and they lose a bit of ground. Or that Parker is shit and gets it wrong somehow
  19. As someone else said, of that had all happened on deadline day we'd be mostly happy
  20. Speaking of attendances, I heard Bournemouth are going to have to turn away fans so they can get all their players in the stadium.
  21. Positive spin time, the squad isn't a disaster GK - Kaminski was injured and we kept clean sheets with pears in goal, just got to keep a solid defence in front of him. FA Cup aside he wasn't a disaster. RB - happy 2 decent option CB - 4 quality options for 3 slots LB - when pickering is back we have two decent options again Midfield of Johnson, Rothwell, Travis Buckley Davenport could have done with an extra body so we're praying no one gets injured and Dack can be useful this season Attackers - BBD, Gally, Hedges, khadra, dolan For the promotion run in we need a slice of luck on injuries but happy with the XI and 3 or 4 potential alternatives. If we don't go up though, we're on a journey up shits creek with loans going back and out of contracts + those going into the last year of their contract. Also I wonder if the venkys think they've backed us this window. With the money we could have got for the 3 out of contracts that's conceivably £5m they've missed out on, so from their point of view they're going to have to put £5m in to plug the gap at some point maybe their version of backing the squad is keeping it together?
  22. Butterworth and Chapman going, who would have been on our bench against Luton?
