  1. We had this problem at the start of the season don't have a season ticket buy on a match by match basis some times one of my daughters attends with me. Tried buying tickets on line for her at same time as buying my own absolute nightmare she ended up with two accounts! Gave up in the end and have resorted to ringing the ticket office to buy when we want two tickets when it's only me buy online
  2. Counting Tony Parkes as one only I would say 9 including sam
  3. With around 60of the 92clubs viewed to be in serious danger it is not beyond the realms of possibilities of Chorley if they can manage to survive appearing in league 2 when the whole thing can restart if there are numerous casualties
  4. Not the Dog Inn at whittle by any chance?
  5. Seem to recall Waggott saying that around 15% of season tickets were not renewed each year which puts it around 1200-1500
  6. Wicket keeper would need to stand back to a spinner. Slips need to be 2metre apart etc
  7. All league cricket in Scotland cancelled until 2021 source BBC sport. Suspect this may be the fate for local clubs in England also.
  8. Meanwhile in Western Australia a state with no current hospital cases of covid. Any team from out of state is required to be quarantined before playing a match. Differing standards of player protection.
  9. Despite all the measures taken. Unless players staff and officials have 14 day quarantine before a game there is always going to be a risk of infection
  10. Queue jumping at it's finest with the side effect of putting nhs staff and care workers further down the list of receiving results
  11. Then we are all up shit Creek and life as we knew it will no longer exist so it won't just be a Dutch problem!
  12. The Dutch government gets it and has been clear for the population that you will need to have been vaccinated to be able to attend
  13. When Cologne returned to training for the German league three players tested positive. This immediately puts Cologne at a disadvantage as those players end up self isolating and behind in their training schedule. So if that happens to a club at either end of the league could make difference between European qualification or relegation. It is not like a player picking up an injury in training.
  14. The Dutch league has cancelled all results no champions or relegation from eredivisie
  15. National league not yet made a decision on promotion or relegation meanwhile Chorley have started a crowdfunding appeal asking for donations of a fiver a supporter
  16. Think people's views on attending are predominantly influenced by which age bracket they fall into. The more mature shall we say will need more persuasion that it is safe to do so.
  17. Personally think the earliest when fans will be admitted to grounds in UK is start of 2021- 2022 season in August 2021 to give time for development and provision of a vaccine and adequate testing of the population for anti bodies to see who has had it and it's not 100% certain at the moment you can't catch it again. I had already decided not to attend the Bristol City game even prior to it being pulled for the same reasons as mattyblues father in law.
  18. Nonsensical time to be doing this with most of the country sat at home with reduced income and counting every penny
  19. Tim Brooke Taylor (part of the Goodies) claimed by the virus. Very sad.
  20. Consequence of advertising revenue's falling off a cliff. Case of trying to bleed more coin out of a dwindling readership is waggott on the board?
  21. Because he is a higher tax rate payer. It's 80% up to a cut off figure of around 2500 pcm
  22. Hadn't realised until looking at Wikipedia that Paul Bradshaw played in the first under 21 international for England. Thinking further about Paul probably the best young keeper we have had in fifty years left us aged 21 for wolves for a then club record fee for wolves. Think it is Jim Arnold's grandson who has been appearing for Northampton in goal this season.
  23. Within a season we had been completely spoiled in the centre forward stakes!
  24. My memories of watching him from the Riverside are of the ball bouncing off him for a good few feet before he got it under control. Agree completely with your other comments. Once he had got it under control he did bring others into play. Depended on whether there was a deep lying midfield player close enough to him to take the ball away if there wasn't he was able to recover the ball hold it up and lay it off
