I think the corner drills are all about maintaining possesion. As you say, the trouble is - and we saw this a couple of times last night - is that we end up with 3 players around the ball near the corner flag, we go and lose it, the opposition breaks quickly, and we're caught on the hop with said players out of position.

That was a cracking game of football which neither side deserved to lose. The simple fact of the matter is that we have a paper thin squad. That's what's lets us down.

I thought it passed him by to a degree, as it has in previous games IMO. I can't recall more than a handful of occasions when his name was mentioned. I only saw it on the tele though; perhaps in the flesh there was more to him. Don't get me wrong, I thiink he's decent. But 'excellent'? Not for me.

I think I'm on with own re: Tronstad. All this mention of him being 'excellent', I just don't see anything more than as you say, a 'water carrier'. A slighly better version of Evans, IMO. And certainly no better than Travis at all. He hardly got involved today, the games just seem to pass him by from what I see. But what do I know, and who cares, cos we won 🙂

All 3 goals have been top drawer. I'm no Dolan fan at all, but hats off to him today; he's been terrific

Our defence is on it's last legs, we're without the energy of Szmodics, and out frontline is iffy to say the least, My heart says we'll nick something, but my head says home win. 2-0 to the Canaries.

I work in Manchester and have a few mates there who are ST holders at Utd. I certainly have no affection for Utd, but at the end of the day, like us, they have seen their club ripped apart because of terrible owners. These lads are genuine, local fans, not the Sky Sports brigade, who follow Utd home and away, so I do have some sympathy.

My daughter went down to a recruitment event a few months ago at Ewood. Thanks but no thanks, was her view. She got double the money Soxexho offer by waitressing locally.

Tomasson certainly rated Wharton enough last night, keeping Hill at RB and replacing Hyam with Wharton like for like.

Carter and SWharton were immense second half. That's how you defend.

Wasn't there a new finance guy appointed recently? That seems too coincidental to me.

Plant based food should be offered irrespective. That wasn't what I was meaning though. As @K-Hod said, the quality of meat at 4 or 5 quid would be iffy to say the least. I would guess that a donner kebab - which is probably as ropey as you could get - is 7 or 8 quid these days.

Think about it. Those offerings you quoted are cheap for a reason, especially with them being meat based.

I think we're due a home win and am expecting a scrappy 2-1. It won't be anywhere near as easy as the cup game the other week. Let's see if Tronstad really is 'up to speed' after managing one decent game thus far, and whether Dolan really can 'lead the line well'.
