I've watched both Espanyol games so far, tonight's game was entertaining. Dolan has done well so far on the right wing. His crossing has noticeably improved.

If that's the game that I think it was, it was absolutley perishing that day at Roker! -

'Saxton Out' chants by a hundred or so on Nuttall St was as volatile as I can remember. -
Exactly. There's huge untapped foreign markets to go at yet. See what the Spanish and Italians are doing; league games being played overseas. It'll be the same here eventually.

We've all seen it before with sides. 'Unlucky' is a term often used to describe defeats at the outset of a relegation season. These defeats soon become 'deserved' and 'self inflicted', as confidence drops and a lack of quality shows. As it stands, with the squad we have, we're in the mire. -

A debacle on and off the pitch, playing against a side on the up backed by a large following. The writing is on the wall and it'll get a lot worse before it starts to get better. I hope that I'm totally wrong, but I can't see beyond an easy away win here. 0-2 -

Per the email, it says I can log into my eTicketing account and I'll see a download button for each linked ST. Errr, no I don't. -
I think that the Dingles will have a fighting chance this year. Parker seems to be a more pragmatically minded manager that Kompany was, certainly defensively, so they perhaps won't get rolled over quite the same this time around. Here's hoping though...

Since when have Birmingham City been more than a Cat C? It's obvious what the tactic is here. Fleece the expected large away following, but sod trying to attract any home support. They are not fit for purpose. -

I thought we played quite well yesterday, it was an enjoyable game. Beyond the starting eleven plus a couple of others who were missing, the squad is so thin though. They seriously need to get some more experience in there. A couple of injuries to key players - which is bound to happen at some point - and we'll be in Dicky's meadow. -
I've just had an email from the club about the car park facilities at the ground. Looking at the parking info on the web site, it's £15 per game. FIFTEEN QUID!!!!! It also appears that they're going to charge on non-match days.... On non-match days, the car park will remain open to visitors. Non-match day rates apply and are displayed clearly on signage throughout the car park. Hopefully, complete madness hadn't taken over their minds, and we can still park for free for a while whilst we pop down to collect tickets, or visit the shop (assuming that it's actually open).

I posted somewhere else on this, but from where I was sat at Accrington, it looked Carter had pulled his hamstring to me. -

We were on the 'Accy' side of the centre circle. I noticed Carter pull up, then a few moments later he was feeling the back of his thigh so I thought 'hamstring' straight away. My daughter said the same. Hopefully just a twinge though. We also noticed the horses near the away entrance. Perhaps there for traffic control, I dunno, but their presence looked a bit odd considering the low key occasion. -
'We've got a little fat guy who'll turn him inside out'. Classic Cloughie quote in reference to Robertson.

I was in line behind him. It looked to me that he was feeling his hamstring.
