  1. You could be right. It's yet more incompetence. The ticket office is closed tomorrow - per yesterday's email - for anyone intending to renew in person. Beggars belief.
  2. Same. As things stand, we're in the brown stuff.
  3. My guess is that they extended the early bird by just one week, as they expected have a manager in place by now.
  4. I'll be renewing our 2 season tickets by tomorrow's cut off. I'll be doing this begrudgingly, mind you. I refuse to pay them an extra £60 over the already ridiculous prices.
  5. Fear not, we'll be 'challenging for promotion in the coming season'...
  6. I'm not sure that we'll get out of League 1 as quickly as we did last time.
  7. I've had a reminder email about the Saturday early bird deadline, so I doubt that it will get extended again.
  8. I think that once the early date has passed, anyone who hasn't renewed by then is effectively lost. They will, at that point, have consciously decided not to buy.
  9. We need someone with experience to replace Lenahan, Ayalya can't be relied upon as we know. Someone like Steve Cook at Forest. What an astute signing he was.
  10. I admire your positivity @chaddyrovers. Perhaps not so much your logical thought process!
  11. I've long thought that the Ewood based 'execs' are simply lazy. Of course everything ultimately goes back to the owners, but that's no excuse for the likes of Waggott to not pull their tripe out.
  12. The DOF will be what, a £500k gig? Money that could be put to better use, IMO.
  13. Whenever I saw Weghourst play for the Clampets, he was terrible. Obviously thinks he's a lot better than he actually is.
  14. When they announced the week extension for early bird, my initial thought was that they did that as they expected to make an announcement beforehand. Otherwise, I can't think of a single, sensible reason why they only pushed it out by only a week.
  15. Totally agree in the main. Although, the next appointment - and any subsequent ones - are relevant IMO. In spite of the Venkys, there are still football matches to win, after all.
  16. Hats off to QPR and PNE in taking a risk by appointing younger, up and coming managers. There'll be a buzz around PNE this season. 10k sold, and in Ryan Lowe, a manager to get behind.
  17. I fail to see how we couldn't have done far better than a company who sells vaping products. We were on TV loads of times last season. That should have appealed to prospective sponsors, for starters.
  18. On one hand, you day the proess has taken too long. On the other hand, you say it's right way of doing it. Make your mind up!
  19. Unless something material is going to happen over the next week - like getting a decent manager signed up! - then it's totally pointless. All it will achieve is to give those like me who are leaving it to the last minute, another week to leave it to the last minute.
  20. At the last game, they'd moved the complementary tickets (Ewood Express) up to where I sit in the JWU. Perhaps that's what they're going to be doing this season. Probably to save costs opening up the BBE upper.
  21. Or...don't piss around in the first place, go straight for the number one choice, and do what you can to land them.
