I don't think he's underestimating them at all. I think his observations are quite accurate. I honestly don't know how some of these cretins can even call themselves Rovers fans. They're as much to blame for the last 15 years as the owners and their associates are. I think a lot of them would be quite happy seeing the team playing in the National League North with gates of 5-800 just so they can say that they're supporting their team through thick and thin. I'm assuming the thick part of that is their brains, if they've even got any. Nothing will be organised like what other clubs manage because of these dropkicks. The easiest thing to do is what many of us have done, just wash your hands of it and walk away. You may be a hardcore supporter of venky fc but don't ever try and tell me that you're a Rovers fan because you're fucking not.

Don't forget that they were offered funding from outside to keep the women's team going and they turned it down.

And here I was thinking that real fans went to the game. Nope, obviously I was wrong. Real fans pay through their arseholes to watch their team on the telly.

That's the thing with this regime, they're thick as pig shit. They use the same tired tactics over and over again. You only have to look through this message board over the last couple of years to see how many times their actions are accurately predicted. One example: After the deliberate sabotage of the Lewis O'Brien transfer I posted that they would blame the EFL for the transfer failure. The very next day they came out with exactly that, trying to place the blame with the EFL and going through that ridiculous appeal process that cost a fortune. Unfortunately there's still a lot of fans that are so completely brain dead they still believe this shit. One of them is a VERY frequent poster on this message board. Any guesses who it could be? I have no time for folk like that, they're completely pathetic and are as much of the problem as venkys. Having a difference in opinion is one thing but denying reality is unacceptable. Believe the dog shit that the club puts out there is on par with climate change denial and belief in a flat earth.

We can afford that. We've brought in close to £50 million over the last two years. The owners of the club are billionaires, apparently. Simple.

If you have more people coming in it makes it harder to justify closing the place down.

To not even hit 20,000 for the first game of the season is complete failure. That's before you even factor in that there were 7,000 away fans.

The biggest protest we've had is the 12,000+ that have voted with their feet and stopped going. All's that's left now are the absolute hardcore (even some of them are starting to reach the point of knocking it on the head) and the drongo suuuuper fanz. That statement they put out completely contradicted itself. Only someone who is totally brain dead would take anything this club says seriously. I know double speak is the standard for large organisations but they're not even good at doing that. I think we've got a chance to cause them some real problems at the minute as they are so totally inept there's no way they'll be able to deal with it. We need to take this chance and give them a good slap.
