Wonder if Chris Wilder would fancy a return to managing the championship! Id take him. Sounds like he speaks his mind, so unlikely Venkys and Wag would fancy that!

very important win as it puts some distance to what I was genuinely starting to worry about...a relegation scrap. Its clear that at least during this season that Mowbray is going nowhere even had this been another loss. Best we can hope for is some decent results and getting some of our better players back In form. Hopefully Mowbray and Wag will be off in the summer. Nice to see Dolan start. Many have been asking for that. Makes you think why he was dropped for so long. Did he really play CF and Gallagher stayed out wide? At least it worked yesterday.

Was almost semi expectant today that we might see some action taken.....but nope. The more I read TMs interviews the more I think he cant believe his luck hes still employed. He even said in the latest LET interview most managers wouldn't have survived. Pretty clear he knows he deserves to be sacked and also clear our owners pay zero attention. Its basically down to Waggot to tell them.....

Feck...just looked at the table! it's worse than I thought! 15th and dropping like a stone. We really could be in the shit with Mowbray in charge and a CEO that simply refuses to take any action. -

Mowbray needs to go ASAP. Getting genuinely concerned about a relegation scrap if he stays any longer. -

Struggling to see anything more than a scrappy loss. 2-1 or 1-0. Will another defeat be enough to kick TM out....doubt it. -
Mowbrays Successor

That should be what your CEO/Chairman does, but we all know Waggot is part of the problem. Club needs a makeover from top to bottom but Venkys need a respectable football advisor before that happens. We all saw what happened when Anderson was "advising" -

A couple of years ago I would have avoided Hughes. But a few years out of the game to evaluate whats worked and what hasnt....Id think hed be worth another go. Hed also speak his own mind...whether that would go down well with the current setup in not sure. Also impossible to be any worse than the current bunch. -
The LET article today is both interesting, infuriating and also shows how confused Mowbray currently is. “I don’t want to be a burden on the club, if I’m the problem then that's no problem, the owners have to tell me. “Other than that, I love the game, I've been here before, I'll keep going. Think this shows hes feeling the pressure, but also Waggot is absolutely useless and doesnt make any decisions. Why isn't it the job of the chairman to tell him hes a problem, not the owners who are located 5000 miles away. For my opinion Waggot should be immediately taken off the payroll if thats the case. Also shows that unless forced out by the owners he has no intention of resigning. he also praises ipswich for getting results by playing direct football....a U turn from the first part of the season.

Sherwood is a tool who got found out as inept when he actually had a chance at management. Theres a reason he's only had part time work as a pundit for the last 5 years. There are plenty of exciting young managers out there that any club with a proactive and organised board could begin shortlisting. Instead we'll muddle along with Melton until he decides to walk, then pick another journeyman out of the same agency pot. If we go experienced Someone like Pearson would at least bring some organisation to the club. Edit...Briston City got in there with that one. out manouevred again -
Do we actually have a board room anymore? When was the last time we heard of anyone other than Mowbray. Do we actually have a chairman or CEO? Has Waggot actually retired already? No wonder theres no pressure on anyone to perform.

Would like to see McBride get some gametime. Hopefully turns out to be more than a Joe Nuttall. -

Have I missed something? News about Brockhall? -
Feck me! His interviews lately seem to basically be a wind up. Like he knows we want a change and is digging in for an argument. Basically saying hes why we have more expectation now and we shouldnt get too greedy! “Yet I feel the negativity, potentially from yourselves, because I understand the expectation that I brought to this football team, not to the club, because this is Blackburn Rovers and I understand Blackburn Rovers historically should be fighting in the Premier League, well, there’s a lot of teams who would say that.

Seemingly having no one in the boardroom willing to make a decision, or worse are just a bunch of best mates with Mowbray to me is even more sickening than having a crap manager. Yeah Mowbrays crap, and his time has passed, but that happens at every club. The proper sickener is having a board and manager who are so friendly its verging on corrupt. Thats a sign of a broken club when the manager runs the boardroom.

Are you TMs love child or something? Amazing how some fans have become content with the months of dire football and ridiculous statements from the manager. Guess it's a sign of how far we've fallen. -

Also we will still be a pretty attractive gig for many up and coming managers. An ok championship budget and a history of giving managers plenty of time. There will be plenty of takers....but will anyone actually dare show TM the door -

What a strange stance. Surely giving a new manager a decent amount of time to assess our squad and head into the summer transfer window with a plan rather than scrambling around would be preferable. Surely he has to be under some serious pressure now -

Awful line up. It must be miserable to be an attacking player with that side around you. Not even gonna bother watching. meh -
This latest interview makes me feel sick. Its almost as if he knows the fans have lost faith, but he also knows hes running the show, will never be under any pressure and is basically on the wind up. Taking full advantage of having no fans allowed to games.
