  1. Or when he got rewarded for keeping us up with a handful of magic beans.
  2. You mean “ wouldn’t. “.
  3. He was gone before yesterdays game.
  4. If the powers that be at the club had any sense they’d have been keeping an eye on the comings and goings in the managerial field. The Eustace saga has been brewing for a while and I suspect they know that. I’m expecting a quick appointment.
  5. I’d like to know how much the use of anti depressants has gone in the Blackburn area in the last 15 years.
  6. I’m disapointed but not surprised. There is no loyalty in modern day football unfortunately.
  7. I saw the Dougie and Ronnie team. I’ll die happy thinking about those days. However I’ll be 76 in March. I was hoping these bastards would be gone before I’m too old to enjoy going down to Ewood again.
  8. The people he met with today haven’t the authority to make those kind of decisions, even if they wanted to. I know that, you know that, and most of all Eustace knows that.
  9. He’ll be in the boot with the radio turned up.
  10. So he stays at Rovers. Cooper comes in at Derby and does a good job. The Derby job is filled for the foreseeable. The job was offered to him now.
  11. One thing about it. Whoever comes in next can’t complain they didn’t know the score.
  12. Given he’d been seriously linked with several other jobs this season it was inevitable that he would leave. I said previously that he wouldn’t be here for the start of next season, I’m just surprised his departure came this soon. It seems likely that whatever relationship he had with the chicken chokers broke down in the close season and his agent has been touting him around even since then. Both sides are just posturing now. I think he was going to Derby come what may. The meeting today was just an PR exercise, he was asking for assurances he knew they wouldn’t/couldn’t give him.
  13. I bet the chicken chokers couldn’t pick Eustace out in a police style line up.
  14. Whoever comes in they need to be the sort of manager that realises we won’t be getting out of this division with our lack of resources by playing “ Pep ball “.
  15. That’s the first time I’ve seen “ Waggott “ and “ Lightning “ in the same sentence.
  16. When Damien Johnson was running what was effectively the reserve team years ago I thought he had a bright future. Then Moggy came along and marginalised him. Since then what has he been doing ? Last I heard he was chief drone pilot at the training ground. I can’t see him running the show even for one or two games now. It’ll probably be Low who funnily enough never seems to be taken away when one of our managers leaves. I wonder why ?
  17. Even the dogs in the street know why he’s leaving.
  18. The minute it emerged that they’d never seen a.game of football before alarm bells starting ringing in my head.
  19. Not really. It had become obvious that he’d be in for every job that became available in the championship. I wouldn’t have surprised if he was even considering jobs at the top end of the next division down. Who will work for these clowns when you could work for somebody sensible ?
  20. I’d be against a short term “ get us up “ style appointment. They rarely work out.
  21. The way football has gone at top level I can’t see Dyche getting another Premier League job.
