  1. They’ll know they’ve been in a game there for sure.
  2. That must be the shortest team we’ve ever fielded.
  3. When we have players as good as they have I’ll agree with you. As it is a left footed journeyman player like Hedges would be better off playing to his strengths.
  4. Once in all the time he’s been here and that makes it alright ? Only in Chaddyworld.
  5. Plus he’s handicapped by having to play on the right when he favours his left foot most of the time. Even the dogs in the street know he’s either going to pass inside or come inside himself. He never gets around the side of opponents.
  6. William Bell And Judy Clay - Private Number
  7. We’re making the players fit into the system instead of having a system that suits the players we have. We all love Sammy but the way we are set up at the moment - he ( or to be more accurate, whoever plays that role ) is part of the problem. The same would apply if Dack was playing there.
  8. Like Dolan’s miss the other day. It was genuinely harder to head the ball wide than it was to head the ball in to goal.
  9. It was great to watch in 1964 but times have changed.
  10. Tronstad or Travis with Wharton, it won’t make any difference. They’ll still be out numbered. In fact I don’t think Tronstad is as good as Travis.
  11. Any two in midfield will get over run by a three. We’re asking him to play a game he’s not suited for. Get two grafters in midfield and let him be the playmaker.
  12. Every time they’ve meddled they’ve got it wrong. How you can do that is a bit of a mystery to me. Even if they’d have tossed a coin they’d have got some of the decisions right. My view - their plan is to gradually wear the fan base down to the point that when they finally pull the plug nothing will happen.
  13. The players at the very top are there primarily because they can make instant decisions at pace under pressure and get them right 99% of the time. It’s no good being skilful on the ball etc if your decision making is crap. However some blames lies with the coaching staff. The top managers drill into their players how to deal with certain situations that they will encounter in a game over and over and over again. Do we do that ?
  14. When I watched his “ highlights “ video on here before he actually arrived all it consisted of was him joining in with attacks, making runs with the ball, crossing and shooting etc. You could think we were signing a midfield player not a full back. Not one example of good defensive play. There’s usually a reason for that.
  15. That’s why letting Buckley got out on loan was an horrendous mistake.
  16. They’ll never have a better chance of beating the red rats. It’s going tits up again at OT and they played and got beat away in Germany on Wednesday night. It was a perfect opportunity for them.
  17. Yeah, 4-3-2-1 for me. We need to shore up the midfield. JRC, Travis, Wharton in the three. Sammy and Siggy in the 2 and whoever is fit can play up front.
  18. It should say “ alleged “ goalkeeper.
  19. That sums it up really. Neither of them should be anywhere near starting at this level.
  20. Curtis Mayfield - Move On Up
  21. America - A Horse With No Name
  22. Jimmy Radcliffe - My Ship Is Coming In
  23. Plan B was loaned out to Sheff Wed to make way for the striker that never was.
  24. Edwin Starr - Twenty-Five Miles
