  1. They’ve missed Mina.
  2. Good luck to him. It’s time we came into the 21st Century in football.
  3. What will they be interviewing him on ? I’d not be too impressed if they weren’t there in person.
  4. The first time I saw the “ new “ Forest team play I thought “ this lot are going up “. They looked like a team that gets promotion. Team shape, pattern of play, they had it all.
  5. I know the stats Chaddy but sometimes there is a story behind the stats. I was reading about another manager not long ago. He’d brought in a lot of new players in the close season and they were struggling to gel. The board got nervous and decided to fire him. The team he built got promoted with the next manager.
  6. Me too but his stock has fallen badly since his time at Forest. I don’t know much about what was going on there. Did Cooper transform the club completely or did Hughton lay the foundations ?
  7. I think at the time Lambert and his staff were a good appointment. It just didn’t turn out that way.
  8. Yeah, that’s just the tip of the iceberg in my opinion. Not just Burnley either.
  9. I thought they gave us 0 points on several occasions. From I heard of the songs at the time we did well to get zero.
  10. Possibly because it’s a crap anthem. More like a dirge.
  11. Me neither. It stopped being a music competition years ago.
  12. Sutton missed the easiest chance of the game in the second half.
  13. That’s the issue. If the Armstrong sale is anything to go by it’ll mean nothing for the new manager to spend
  14. I always liked Barton as a player. He’s a winner that drives the rest of the team on. Something of a Robbie Savage but Barton could actually play. Would I want him as a son-in-law ? Not really, but it would be interesting. Same thing applies to him as a manager.
  15. He can’t possibly be any worse than the previous lot.
  16. Having Dunny as your “ right hand man .” Is the “ added degree of difficulty “ factor in any appointment.
  17. Indeed. One of the few conceivable appointments that would be a backward step. So it’s Grayson then.
  18. Sorry mate but my post should have said “ Leeds wouldn’t beat Rovers “ ! You can still like it as it was though ! As you say - you can’t keep having players sent off. You don’t win many games playing with ten for most of the game. I read somewhere that the dingles have only had 2 players sent off in the last 5 years in spite of being a team well known for “putting it about a bit”. Leeds have had two red cards in the last two games !
  19. Leeds have got to get a win from somewhere but the way they’re playing the wouldn’t beat Rovers at the moment !
  20. Looks like it, they’ve imploded recently. It doesn’t make things easy for us next season. All three teams have recent experience of promotions.
  21. Whoever wrote the article I referred to must have meant he’d never coached in red ball cricket before then ?
  22. I read somewhere that McCullom, good player as he was, has never coached before. Can that be right ?
