And what if Todd wasn't fit to play pre-season? why wouldnt he be? He started training the same day as the rest of them. At the end of the day he was wrong to refuse to play. Souness should of fined him. Not hold a personal grudge against the fans player of the season and refuse to include him in a squad ever again. I wouldn't say that's entirely true. More like a last roll of the dice in my opinion. It's happened quite a few times in recent seasons. One that springs to mind is Peter Reid at Sunderland. He was given cash to splash, (think it was on Flo and Stewart), but was shown the door a few weeks later.

Souey's only saving graces now IMO could be the signings of MGP and that Corduroy bloke whatever his name is.

Lets hope he's given the baptism of fire Vs those blasted Mancs on Saturday then. We can all see we're crying out for a bit of skill/flair/excitement.

Well, for one he teaches his players how too excel at what they are best at, but most importantly gives them faith in their own ability and gives them CONFIDENCE. He also seems to know exactly how his team are meant to play, and never sways from his beliefs. He's a man on a mission. That's true enough mate. I know he'll never manage Rovers but I'd love the FA to persuade him to take the England job one day. But then that's just dreaming

If injuries and lady luck treat us nicely I can see us finishing 8th. I'm not sure who I want to win the league, dislike all the main contenders.
