The saddest thing of this is that at most other clubs Mowbray would have been hounded out whether he wanted to leave or not. The fans would make it unbearable for him to show his face in the dugout week in and week out.

v Stoke City (h) - 18/4/22

He has to go directly after this game. It's not even about football anymore just baic human decency. He is toxic for this club. -
I mean it's just misery, isn't it. There's no point any more even talking about the games or what will happen or not happen. It's just pure, unfiltered misery under this man.

People are being very generous with their ratings here. We've had some good runs, but time and time again the collapses have been horrific and wiped out anything even remotely positive that had been build by those runs. Even more alarmingly he inspires no fight whatsoever in the players. Too busy thinking about what total garbage he will be spew in the next interview. A 3/10 at most. He's only still here because we have no owners, no one in the running of the club has any ambition.

Whatever happens, this has been a disgraceful performance. We will regret this season's collapse for seasons to come. Only light is the countdown to TM's last game (I hope).

Something is deeply wrong with this side. Absolute joke of defending, you honestly would be angry at that at an amateur game. Are there leaders in this team?

Tony leaving is honestly worth missing out on play offs. -

TM why why why. On leg you play Dack and BB. Why TM. Why. -
v Reading (a) - 20/3/22

Gally missed a sitter unfortunately and then Reading hit a real cracker. Without Brereton unfortunately we just don't have the firepower to win matches, end of. The criminal thing was TM not finding a replacement for our most critical area. Hedges still has no idea what is going on or what he's supposed to be doing. -
Only 6 points between 3rd and 10th. And some of the teams in there...you wouldn't know if you're looking at the Championship or League 1. It's anybody's game. A fit and in form Dack and BBD would eat them all up. Only question is if, and when will we see them...games running out.

v Derby County (h) - 15/3/22

Well thank God for that. I would not call this Jekyll and Hyde - it was a 15 minute blitzkrieg because, shock and wonder - putting on two clear cut attackers, even if not in best form, is a million times better than literally 0 clear cut attackers. After that we sat back, did nothing impressive, and Derby were simply not good enough to threaten. TM looked the angriest I have ever seen him when we scored our two goals. He was angry that his 0 attackers system failed miserably, and literally within minutes two attackers turned the game around? Is he that petty? I hope not. -

Kaminski only one that deserves a salary. Laughable that Lenihan and others think they are too good for this club. I wouldn't pick them up on a free in League 1 in theur current form. -

Some of the most embarassing football imaginable. We look like a non league side. TM without the slightest clue. Just garbage. -

My God are there some days you don't want to be a football fan. Courage, lads. -
Mowbray really goes out of his way to take the most contrarian position possible, for what gain I don't know. We can's score for love or money, our main strikers and attackers are injured.....but he has no regrets over not buying more strikers? Would not change that at all? Can hardly even dignify that with a response...

We all knew the February death spiral was coming, we smelled it, we tasted it, and here it is. Full serving. You have a better chance at escaping gravity than Tony's death spiral.

Undoubtedly playing so many games recently with the Chile internationals played a big part in this. Turned out to be a double-edged sword unfortunately, the Chilean affair.

Sorry but that is unaccaptable from Ayala. Not hia fault but you can't be a professional footballer and be injured all the time. Unless he is on the lowest salary in the squad he needs to be let go. -
v Swansea City (a) - 5/2/22
Mr. E replied to darrenrover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Everything imaginable went wrong today. Mowbray first of all by not starting with a striker. That killed our game more than anything else today. The defence fell asleep for 1 attack, but that was enough. Swansea didn't even dream about going forward again for the rest of the game. Two absurd misses on our part, and other than the last 15 minutes very sloppy play with lack of urgency. Any other day we are winning today 5-0. We need to find our grit again. -

Crazy not to start Brereton. Even at 50% he should have started. As mentioned we are playing with no one upfront and it shows massively. Crying out for a striker. -
January Transfer Deadline Day 2022
Mr. E replied to Tom's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Rothwell does not want to play for this club so what are we keeping? A pure mercenary reluctantly putting on the shirt because no one would pay a proper price for him? I'd swap him for someone enthusiastic about playing for us, even if they are unproven. -
v Luton Town (a) - 29/1/22
Mr. E replied to darrenrover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
What a fight this was. Players on both sides must be exhausted. For the rest of season though we need Rothwell and Ben back in the team, injury free....I fear anything less and the wheels will come off, as we are stretched to the very limits. We need to hit some stretch of injury luck. -

Mr. E replied to darrenrover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Luton pressing hard for every square inch of space. Have really shut us down. Very lucky to still be 0-0 here. Not sure what we can change at half time, but will be difficult to leave with points today. -
v Middlesbrough (h) - 24/1/22
Mr. E replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
GET IN!! How good this feels! We had to hang on for dear life for what felt like a good 20 minutes at the end. Boro didn't offer much quality but that lad that come on as a sub was insanely fast, there was no stopping him. Gally worked his sicks off and really deserved his goal...his attitude is exactly the player we need. Just has to up the quality. The whole team worked very hard. Only Khadra I felt had a very poor game, nothing went right for him. Back 3 very solid, van Hecke was titanic. Would love to keep him. Zeefuik impressive, can't wait to see more from him. Very sweet 3 points...but we desperately need reinforcements in the squad to keep this up. Edit: Oh yes the linesman are you kidding me? The ball went out clear as day and he was looking at it dead eye straight in front of him, he literally could not have had a better view. I'm sorry but this can't be just incompetence.
