  1. Its a good squad, it just lacks pace upfront.
  2. Don't they have a ridiculous amount of injuries?
  3. Yep, the aforementioned PNE game destroyed the pitch for a good while and the game itself was basically unwatchable.
  4. I'm 10 miles down the road from Ewood and it hasn't snowed at all here. My house also isn't at the bottom of a valley next to a river like the ground is.
  5. Those replies are disgusting. People really are horrible.
  6. You're definitely wrong - how many on this board alone refuse to go because of the owners? If a local consortium / sensible foreign owners bought the club and had a clear plan, fans would return. It used to be an incredible family club - one the local community could be proud of. It's a shadow of that now - a zombie club that shambles along.
  7. They've just sent out a tweet promoting the game on the official channel. I imagine it'll have been an scheduled tweet and nobody from the media team will be at the ground before 10am.
  8. I don't think they gave one - but we know he had surgery and he'll be out until the new year.
  9. I'd be delighted with £800k.
  10. Markanday is not a Championship player - how many times does he have to prove that?
  11. Eustace tried Beck further forward in the Sheffield United game. He's very much Warnock reincarnated - he doesn't have the feet to play as an attacking player.
  12. Maybe Tronstad? First name on the team sheet for mine.
  13. You saw Hedges at his best and his worst in that one passage of play in the second half where he was played in, dallied on the ball - thereby losing the opportunity to shoot across the GK with his favoured left foot - panicked and just passed an aimless ball across the box to nobody. He wouldn't start for any other team pushing for promotion.
  14. He's clearly quite a classy player. I wish we'd play him more to give Travis and Tronstad a rest.
  15. As his biggest critic even I'll admit he had a very good game today.
  16. He looks like a Rolls Royce next to Buckley.
  17. He couldn't play as a pivot in a 4-2-3-1 - receiving the ball facing his own goal and playing on the half turn wasn't his game. He's had a new lease of life under Eustace - he's turned him back into a box-to-box CM.
  18. LOL Cardiff have clearly been instructed to shoot on sight.
  19. Was the Hedges miss as bad as I thought it was from the stands? The overhit Ohashi pass to Cantwell was an absolute stinker.
  20. I thought it was another credible performance from Beck, Hyam, Batth, Tronstad, Travis and Cantwell. Ohashi fluffed his lines, Dolan and Hedges aren't good enough and sadly JRC will always be marked down for his poor clearance. I don't question their effort and bravery, I question their talent.
  21. I was threatened with being knocked out by a local on the walk back from the ground because of where I park (on a main road, which he thinks is 'private land') - Blackburn really has gone to the dogs.
  22. Wait, you think those are low effort performances? I think it's a team going flat out - which is why we struggle to back it up when we have 2 games a week. Dolan, Hedges, Weimann, Buckley, Pickering, Pears - all L1 players. Sheffield United brought Harmer off the bench ffs.
  23. Not much you can really do there. Two fortunate goals (JRC cleared to an offside man and they won the ping pong battle for the second), but they just had better players across the field. Heard boos at full time - I just don't understand that. Only Beck, Tronstad and Cantwell would get in their side.
  24. Get Dolan and Hedges off at half time, they're both a negative. Leonard and Gueye on.
