You reckon? I’d say there’s an odd rumbling again, largely from old school Venky-sceptics who’ve been quiet but are raising their head above the parapet again. But to me we are still miles away from where the wider fanbase was with them even in say 2017 (pre League 1 relegation) nevermind 2012. Certainly no turned tide from what I can see. Case in point let’s see how many Venky chants we hear around the ground until the end of the season? I’d wager zero.

Hope Sellars was given a bollocking after the game for those crosses - didn’t he know the data? Why didn’t he pass it back five yards instead? Much safer.

He’s ‘worth’ what the market is willing to pay and a second division club in these kind of financial straits won’t be getting £25-£30 million for a teenager.

Of course he bears a responsibility for the debacle of this season. He’s the head coach. Just strange to read (especially from a switched on poster like Joey) that he is solely responsible.

The club he left wouldn’t push on to the next step which was Champions League… this club won’t even push on for a Championship play off place.

Of course it would be good, but away from here most fans still think the club would be worse off without them - so how are you getting a protest off the ground?

… but even if there was an appetite for a Venky protest within the fanbase (there isn’t, ‘JDT Out!’ is another story), there will be hardly any Rovers fans at the Wrexham game anyway so it ain’t happening.

Of course he got ‘sort it out’ from time to time and the team got boos, just standard stuff from a crowd in a poor performance, but I’ll re-phrase Ewood was very, very accepting of TM and was never close to turning, not a chance the standard empty and soporific midweek Ewood would’ve against Derby (we went 4th that night by the way, so why would it?) - whereas it will on Saturday if we go a goal or two down.

So a team hurtling down the table should just have Leonard and Telalovic as strikers until May?

Ewood was very, very pro TT until the very end. This place was out of step with that feeling. On the flipsde this place has always been far more pro JDT than Ewood.

The problem we have is I just don’t see them selling, at all. Most other owners that dived in to a purchase they were wholly unsuited for would’ve given it up as a bad job 5/8/10 years ago. This lot? They will keep hold of it until, well, I’m not sure what will be left by then.

Why would they get rid of him when he does exactly what they want? Cut costs and keep the place ticking over. He will stay until he chooses to retire.

Leo was slowly improving through November after a rocky start, then he had a poor game at Sheff Wed and his game has completely fallen to pieces since. You can get away with ‘project’, ‘value add’ signings in other parts of the pitch, not in goal.

We were just outside the play offs in mid December, it had obviously been a good season until then.

There will be 4k home fans there (max) and they certainly won’t be the protesting sort.

Won’t he? Dack left for free and we had an option on him too (we just didn’t bother taking it up). They will be more than happy to get rid of his wages.

Still I shouldn’t criticise the recruitment/scouting team for throwing away a big chunk of our already pitiful budget on Leo as I couldn’t name a better Scandinavian 800k goalkeeper myself.

Post the start of October we were either battering sides or winning/losing by an odd goal. I don’t recall much of ‘he’s no plan B’, ‘he won’t budge from his method’ and all the rest of it then. December started with Leo all over the place at Sheff Wed and it’s since descended into farcically bad defending and, yes, a manager that now seems reluctant to change course. First things first get Pears back in and at least you may have some semblance of calm back there.

Big fan of the bloke but its a results business and we are hurtling down the table. Poor results in those three winnable home games coming up and he would go at any other football club regardless of budget, how he’s been shafted and all the rest of it -but I doubt it will even be discussed here and that is another symptom of this dysfunctional, ruinous ownership. No pressure on results at any time from the top down cannot lead to anything but malaise and horrendous drops in form at any professional club. So we can only hope he picks up some results as players get back fit as it’s our only hope - there’s no Warnock to the rescue here.
