To be fair most on here (maybe not the lemmings on wider social media) were aghast by his comments in his big eve of KO interview… but looking back he was merely stating the truth. This club has no ambition outside not being in League 1 and ‘developing’ players - and it hasn’t tried very hard to even fulfil ambition 1. To paraphrase den, ‘operate like Crewe, become Crewe’.
