  1. Obviously not, took a while.
  2. He’s an Asian lad from Dingleland so I’m going to say it’s highly unlikely.
  3. Probably is the goal, but why? What’s the point of any of this?
  4. That’s a potential explanation as to why they are shrugging their shoulders this season… but the second part, I.e why this interminable, joyless (on both sides) ownership never ends?
  5. That window just gone confirms there is no goal of staying up, but no selling up goal either… why?
  6. End of the day doomed Sheff Wed aside the other relegation threatened clubs will look to rectify it in January as they don’t want to see their passion, their investment, end up in League 1 for both sporting and financial reasons. Here? Well, we all know the answer to that.
  7. The irony is the only way that growing community would ever even remotely engage with the club is if it achieved something in the pitch, I.e Premier League… which of course will *never* happen under this regime. So yes, only one cure whatever way you slice it.
  8. I wonder if an esteemed poster still sees him as an ‘excellent’ appointment (he did a few weeks ago)?
  9. Load of ideas there, but then they run into the standard VenkyRovers roadblocks… I.e no money, no organisation, no drive, no passion.
  10. Especially Gallacher who is never out the hospitality suites.
  11. Why would he be under threat? He’s been brought in to aid in the downsizing of the club and on that he’s done a good job. Results don’t matter here.
  12. Not sure Tuchel has any issue with the away support, cracking fans, but Wembley is a morgue, who would argue with either statement?
  13. Someone’s obviously stumbled across a new phrase and will now be using it to death in completely the wrong context.
  14. … or to rename it the Tony Parkes Riverside that was being ‘looked into’ as far back as pre-Covid.
  15. To be fair he has to fit all family engagements into international breaks as he certainly wouldn’t be missing QPR at home for one.
  16. Agreed. @only2garners , can this be on the agenda please? I’ve asked this to be raised before as I just can’t fathom it… at least the de-Roversisation of Blues Bar they can blame on Sodexho.
  17. Bolton, Wolves, Derby all traditional old clubs like ourselves. The league game is therefore enough just like it was for the 100th and 125th, plus play in a one off kit, job done. If you are going to have an additional game you surely don’t just have a 40 minute kick about between amateurs and a bunch of 50/60 year olds an hour after the game - either do it properly or don’t bother.
  18. Parson has made it clear that he has fundamentally no issue with how the club is being run.
  19. The obvious solution, but of course this lot not never take that option.
  20. If it’s only a piddling 40 minutes why not play it pre the Derby game?
  21. At least they have a proactive (very active) approach to their club, can question their patience, but at least they care. Comprare and contrast to whatever our ‘custodians’ are supposed to be.
  22. With half the clubs owned by Americans and their wholly unromantic view of clubs as US sport franchise-style revenue generators it’s only a matter of time.
  23. Get rid of friendlies and qualifiers and purely use the Nations League and play offs instead.
  24. Not a load of difference in quality between Stanley in L2 and a NL game anyway.
