  1. We should. Especially with Bolton gone and Wigan being a night game, it’s our only local daytime fixture. But if the results continue to be so so until the game then I would wager we won’t.
  2. By the time it goes on general sale on the 14th there will still be thousands left, so you’ll be fine.
  3. Worth tanking for that win at Wembley... though didn’t feel like it when Derby went 2-0 up in the first leg of the play off semi!
  4. As an aside, I thought Neil Yardley was an excellent compère. Something others on our table also commented on. He’s been at Rovers years, obviously he has an interest in being so through his media business, but I could certainly see him presenting/commenting on a bigger scale.
  5. The online allocation will have sold out over the weekend. They’ll add more this morning, I’d imagine.
  6. ‘Super Atko’ began as a pisstake, but promotion season onwards it became a positive chant!
  7. Come on Dave, pre season means bugger all, it’s largely half paced fitness exercises against third/fourth division and non league sides. 8 goals in 60 games for Forest, wasn’t it? I would love him to come good, can only be a positive for the club in more ways than one, but he’s been very poor thus far.
  8. I didn’t even realise there was any yesterday, as like most fans, I was caught in the moment going crackers. So what’s the point of it? The roar and celebration of the crowd when a goal is scored is all the sound you ever need.
  9. Tosin looked comfortable on the ball, is a big lad and could pick out a pass, surely he should be starting if we want to be playing this new ‘progressive style’? Lenihan is committed, but cultured he ain’t.
  10. I think it was generally better attended than usual, as all stands looked fuller, certainly less than a 1,000 in the freebie BEnd upper, so plenty of extra tickets will have been bought too. So of course, we provide a performance like that.
  11. And both are a million miles away from DG. ‘Evolving styles’, ‘succession planning’ and all the rest of it is all well and good. But you play your best players until potential replacements are up to scratch.
  12. One goal against an unpaid, already relegated rabble. I don’t think that tells us anything either way.
  13. There were some Scout groups up there too. Good to see, it’s empty every game, utilise it. I could hear them throughout the game, and they were loudly booing Luton’s goals which amused me.
  14. As I said the other week, look how quickly Garry Monk has ended up back in the game, yet that disgrace of a man hasn’t even had a sniff of a coaching job in the UK in 7 years, says it all.
  15. Stoke have just gone 10 home games in a row without a win, worst run in their history. He’ll be potted soon you’d imagine.
  16. Interesting views on Mulgrew above, it was amazing how quickly he declined after Christmas last season.
  17. If FFP didn’t exist I’d by happy enough for the owners to throw 7 million on as many ‘projects’ as possible, if some flopped so be it. But surely in a FFP world and the parameters it sets on the club we don’t have that luxury and it isn’t just simply ‘the owners money’ anymore.
  18. Just leaving Ewood. Matt spoke with real honesty and told a few cracking tales. He got a fantastic reception and it made me proud to be a Rover
  19. I was a big fan of Nyambe, for a teenager he looked to have the lot. However there is no doubt for me that he’s regressed as a full back. Now you could well blame TM for that as he was unceremoniously dropped back end of last season when he was no worse than the rest of the defence, but currently I wouldn’t be starting him as he seems to be bereft of confidence.
  20. Of course, but don’t take the moral high ground with others if they haven’t as yet changed theirs too.
  21. Ha I skipped past that bit as I wasn’t sure what he was getting at. I enjoy a good trawl of old threads to back up my point as much as the next man.
  22. ‘We may all want him sacked’ sure sounded like you agreed with the sentiment? The rest of the post above is generally fair enough, but then surely you should be cutting some slack to others who haven’t as yet been on the journey and reached the same view you have over the past six weeks?
  23. Hang on a minute Dreams you were happy for him to be sacked after TWO GAMES this season! So all a bit rich for you to now accuse other posters of being unreasonable and one eyed, unable to see the long term plan and development of the squad under him etc etc.
