  1. I don't. It's the Football League that introduced it. But if we must have them, surely the agenda should be something more pressing than turnstiles, food kiosks etc. Otherwise why not just re-badge a couple of the Fans Forums as 'Consultations' and be done with it?
  2. Like last season all our derbies seem to be very close together...
  3. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/june/rovers-on-the-road/ Article on the official site about the away games, it asks the question "So, can we top last season’s away support and back the lads even better on the road next term?... " In a word - no.
  4. Bang on. With a couple of exceptions I don’t see how that agenda differs from the FF. Perhaps Question 2b is a little more pointed than something the FF would ask , although I’m not certain they haven’t asked about Pasha et al in the past. Plus, Q3 obviously as Mogga wouldn’t rock up at the Fans Forum usually. The club (perhaps all clubs) are pulling a fast one here.
  5. Bebe. Bought him along with Kleberson and Djema-Djemba in the mid 00s. Fergie was rocking a bit at this stage, remember quite a bit of stuff about him maybe edging to retirement. Obviously he then went on and won a load more titles...
  6. Just like season tickets, are we the last club in England to even preview the new kits, nevermind get them on sale?
  7. The one after, was mainly red with black panels
  8. Brighton fans? Get behind him FFS! http://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?323343-There-is-ZERO-chance-of-SIGNING-anyone-today/page895
  9. Is it not just a way of increasing the home grown quota in the squad relatively cheaply? There can be no other explanation.
  10. Not according to the groundsman... https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/may/pitch-up-look-sharp/ ‘Trevor, who has worked for the club for over 35 years, said: "All that's happening is what we do every season, which is stripping the old turf off, adding some fresh root zone, freshening everything up and reseeding. "People get it in their head that it's a brand new pitch, but it's not. It's more of a make do and mend job.’
  11. Amazed me that we got named as one of the top 3 pitches in League 1, thought it looked very patchy after Christmas.
  12. I can't imagine much of a bumper home crowd for a Thursday night friendly against Everton
  13. Yeah right! You'd be swinging from the chandeliers of Chez Chadwick if we signed someone for 10 million!
  14. I imagine there's plenty going on behind the scenes, so no panic from me at this stage. However, I can understand why folk are wondering if something is amiss after Mogga's comments. I believe the club is in a better place than in the summers of 2015 and 2016, when we were scrambling around for frees and loans after the seaosn had kicked off.
  15. Last summer I thought we were proactive (for us). Whittingham signed 13th June Dack signed 27th June Gladwin 28th June Samuel 19th July Harry Chapman loan 4th August Antonsson loan 11th August All about what folk think 'early' means, and Mowbray putting needless pressure on himself and the club by putting up the Austria camp as a date for having players in.
  16. 12,000 would be the most sales since the summer of 2011, would be fantastic, but I doubt we’ve got close.
  17. Yes, because the top teams in England don’t win 10 home games a season 4/5/6/7 nil. Europe shows that Barca and Real are top teams and Messi/Ronaldo are two of the greatest of all time, however I don’t see how folk can argue that their scoring records are not skewed by the bottom half clubs that roll up to the Nou Camp and get slaughtered year in year out.
  18. Real Madrid had a poor league campaign, but generally this past decade, they and Barca have demolished teams repeatedly, particularly at home. Both Messi and Ronaldo have cashed in.
  19. Early bird deadline today, will we see it extended like last summer? If not, I assume we’ll have now sold the vast majority that we will, as I can’t imagine a stampede for sales at the new prices that will be between £400-500.
  20. I think you can press the red button and sync the 5 Live commentary...
  21. Ahead of ourselves? These days? It’s obvious you don’t live in England BDS, as I don’t know a single person that has any expectations these days. The ‘golden generation’ hype has long gone. However, there is support behind a largely young team.
  22. From memory Wolves and Newcastle were the only home game live on Sky last time in this league - plus Newcastle was still 3pm, it was on Bank Holiday Monday.
