  1. Huddersfield took 1000 to Forest last night at £25, where are another 3.5k coming from to get close to Sheff Utd following? .........and I've not started on our lot?
  2. Remind me what the gate was against Sheff Utd Sparks? One thing that immediately jumps out here, the moaning is about ticket pricing, a very valid argument for football supporters across the land and not about the manager, the players or the owners! That is a result surely!
  3. Every player in this league wants to play in the Premiership, its the pinnacle of a players careers to do so, many don't make it. Can you imagine if Mowbray went public and said he'd not sell Brereton to a Premiership club for any price? What would that do to the lad himself and the relationship with the manager? Mowbray knows his players, his man management is superb, look how he dealt with the Armstrong sale if you don't believe me. He doesn't want to lose Brereton, only the owners can force through that sale mid season, time will tell on that score.
  4. Not wanting to deflect this thread, but the club are trying, you seem to be forgetting: The club reduced the Sheff Utd game to under £15 across the board. The Preston home game and Blackpool home games have been reduced in price too. The club is introducing a Category C for all non-holiday midweek games, which will see adult ticket prices capped at £20. Next Generation Initiative, with 1,000 supporters having been invited to watch games in the upper tier of the Blackburn End will also continue. The club seem to be trying in this area as far as I'm concerned.
  5. Don't sit in JW upper, problem solved. If its the most popular stand for walk ons then the pricing is probably right or people wouldn't pay it.
  6. I can't believe what I'm reading, draws and losses being predicted for a side in the vein of form we are in? I know its silly season but come on...... Rovers 3 Udders 1
  7. What did Kenny do in 91/92? Bought Duncan Shearer to knock Swindon out of the promotion race. Who could Mowbray buy to do the same?
  8. 57,000 fans wishing they could swap places with the mighty Blackburn Rovers 👍 Onwards and upwards.
  9. Forest bring on £13.2m striker Carvaliho to try and salvage a point.
  10. The Rochdale game was Boxing day SG, traditionally one of the best attended matches of the season, we'd have beaten that gate had this been 3pm on Boxing day I'd wager. Last night was a good turnout which will build should the side continue winning.
  11. If you look at the promotion campaign in 2000/2001 we played Crewe at home at a similar time of year - We had around 18k on that day, so we're not doing to badly after a decade of hurt under these idiots. The Blackburn public have always supported a successful team throughout my time supporting the club and will continue to do so. If we maintain the current lofty heights of Championship you'll see these gates going up further, its always been that way.
  12. Excellent crowd last night and great support, tremendous to see. The town wants to get behind the football team and if we're doing well the fans will come, its always been that way. Onwards and upwards.
  13. Correct, my mistake, it wasn't actually broadcast live, the assassination of Oswald was.
  14. Not only that Mike, Lee Harvey Oswald was also shot live on TV, his brother Bobby was shot by Sirhan Sirhan at a democrat conference in LA in front of the media, he incidentally was released from prison in August this year with the blessing of the Kennedy family. Dr King was assassinated during the same period, Malcolm X too, how must it have felt to live through that period as an American?
  15. Whilst our heads are turned expecting bids for Brereton, we need to make sure nobody steals Buckley. He was outstanding tonight and has been for most of the season, another gem we must keep hold of. Onwards and upwards.
  16. Yes. You don’t break up a winning side, a side challenging for promotion and if they do it’s season over for me.
  17. Yes I've watched the first 3 chaddy, 1 more to go, its very good. Having been into the JFK assassination for many years even I've learned a number of new bits of evidence from the first 3 episodes.
  18. I've just had a cheeky Barnsley fan at the door (I live between Udders and Barnsley) telling me how they're going to stuff us tonight and what 'fair weather fans' we've got - Cheeky bastard.... I'm now going for Rovers 4 Barnsley 0 and plenty of roadworks on M1 to make the journey home more painful for him. Come on you Super Blues.
  19. Its not a huge challenge in my book, if you want Premiership football and the £150m+ that comes with just one season in the top league, you don't sell, if you're not really bothered and happy to just plod along in the Championship losing £20m a season then sell. We have been told things have changed behind the scenes, we could be about to find out.
  20. Give me a shout if you need a hand 👍
  21. The story probably comes from this site where a bonus was mentioned a while back, someone's picked it up from here would be my guess. The owners have kept quiet for a few years now and long may it continue as far as I'm concerned, we want them as far away from whats currently going on as possible. I would also add that Waggott wouldn't be able to keep this information quite had it been true and not a word from the inside sources which tells its own story.
  22. I suppose the one takeaway is we've finally learned how to catch, Butler aside, he needs dropping and replacing with a proper wicket keeper, but the rest of them are holding on to chances finally. The bowling until put us in a decent position only for the weak batting unit to again let the side down in the face of some excellent stuff from Aussies it must be said. It will all be over tonight, Ashes retained and England back to the drawing board.
  23. 23yrs man and boy on here and avoided the mod role 😀 Long may it continue, you chaps do a tremendous job.
  24. Rovers fan with Mcewans shirt on in the crowd, first wicket for Robinson, Lion gone.
