  1. Superb result, made up for the Rovers hordes that made the trip. Safe trip home and I salute every single one of you.
  2. The Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke heavyweight title clash on Sky last night was superb, if anyone hasn't seen it catch-up on Sky, you'll not be disappointed.
  3. Great picture of Oldham fans in Darwen End mid 80’s.
  4. I agree with you, but if Dolan had that quality on a regular basis, he'd not be playing for Blackburn Rovers.
  5. I've told you in the piece you quoted, he has the ability to get you out of your seat with his attacking play at times, not many of the current crop can do that. He was very good yesterday, hope you enjoyed his performance despite the result.
  6. Who cares what this board thinks? Let the manager manage, he should have been allowed to sell Rothwell when he wanted to, its as simple as that.
  7. I agree with Nixon for once! I heard Troy Deeney saying yesterday that Eustace knows this is a massive uphill task, that is why he took the job.
  8. He'd probably never heard of them, but I'm sure he did some homework before accepting the job, but in football, as in any industry, you take things at face value. He was promised of funds and full control, those promises were quickly renegaded upon and the rest of history. I respect the guy for walking, just as I did with Lambert, you tell lies to the manager and you get what you deserve.
  9. You're looking in the wrong place to lay that blame, JDT was lied to and let down by the owners and CEO, its a familiar pattern. Eustace seems a good guy, the Birmingham fans loved him, but you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, he's not a magician. If we go down or stay up, it matters not one jot, the decline of the club will continue until the owners sod off, owners that judge success by selling academy players, promotion isn't even in the equation.
  10. Interesting take on Ipswich, I thought they looked a good side, especially travelling with the ball, they pinged it around really well and always looked dangerous.
  11. https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/24221107.bradford-city-fans-chant-protest-owners-game/ Bradford City fans protesting yesterday about Stefan Rupp and CEO, Ryan Sparks. The comments page makes interesting reading, another divided fanbase.
  12. It’s quite simple really, if you get rid of players like: Rothwell Lenihan Dack Philips Diaz Wharton Kaminsky If you tell lies to the manager and he leaves too, you end up in relegation trouble. Nobody should be surprised. VENKYS OUT, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
  13. Great support from Suffolk, big numbers, all credit to them.
  14. Does your seat face the pitch rigger? He’s a decent Championship player that has a unique ability, that on occasions, gets you on the edge of your seat with his ability.
  15. The National Fronts poster boys if memory serves me correctly?
  16. How many times have Germany won Euros and World Cup? They’ve never had the best league or best players in the world, I’m not buying that damo.
  17. Shearer was better than Kane in his pomp.
  18. Admission prices and season tickets 80/81 - CRAZY!
  19. Its all about opinions of course damo and I respect yours. You talk about Pep and Klopp, but they're never coming to manage England and lets not forget we had a manager of this calibre in Capello, probably in Venables and Robson too, all failed to reach the heights Southgate has, food for thought maybe?
  20. I remember Ipswich Town under Bobby Robson winning the UEFA Cup in 80's, they won FA Cup in 70's and the league 1960's, they've always had a good pedigree a generation or two before Jack came along. That makes them an exciting prospect for any investor, as does Blackburn Rovers league title win and league cup win more recently. You don't need masses of support to protest, Reading have shown that, its happening at Sheff Weds too right now. If you have organisation and a will to succeed, a few hundred can make a massive difference.
  21. Italy were the best side in the competition and backed it up, no shame in losing to them in my opinion. The Euro 96 side was the best England side in my lifetime, with a world class manager running the show and even they couldn't make it into the final. We shouldn't under estimate the achievement of Southgate last time out, who out performed every other England manager since 1966!
  22. Its interesting to note, that a number of our 'celebrity fans' didn't want to get involved in the mud slinging back in the early days of this lots reign. I know several attempts were made to try and bring more publicity to our plight and many celebs ran a mile.
  23. Gareth Southgate is the most successful England manger since Alf Ramsey, but he's won nothing. But what he has done is take his England side to European Championship final, something that every other England manger has failed to do in the history of the competition, think about that. That statistic alone means he deserves to be in his current position and all this nonsense about "once in a generation talent pool" is something we've been hearing for decades, usually with the same outcome, failure! Friendly internationals against Brazil mean nowt, its what happens in a few months time that really matters.
  24. Superb result. VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
  25. Was that the cup game at Forest on the Saturday? We won the replay at Ewood mid 80’s?
