At the cup game in Glasgow, I was struck by the numbers of Irish teenagers singing songs about IRA killing the English, when most of them were just a twinkle in daddies eye when the troubles were raging. This was in the pubs close to ground, we were in The Bairds Bar for a while, most of the pub in town were fine and to be honest ignoring the spotty knobheads the Bairds was fine too.

Billionaire owners eh...... It was pointed out last season that Mowbray missed out on all his original loan tagets, now you know why. It ended up really well with Van Hecke, thats testament to the manager and his scouting team, but again we find ourselves unable to compete in the loan market as well as the transfer market. I'm sure JDT knew the constraints he's be working under when he signed, how long he'll put up with this is anyone's guess.....

Loved the film, great to see those actors and director back one more time, but the story was way off the mark. Its widely agreed Frank Sheehan was not involved in the killing of Hoffa, this film was more than just creative license from Scorsese, it was made up, based on the book, but I'm still glad he made the film.

Derek Chisora beat Pulev last night by split decision live on DAZN. It hasn't always been the case with Chisora, I remember a poor fight in Monaco not that long back, but more recently he's been box office, gives 110% and I'd pay to watch him every time he fights. Last night was a close fight, both men went at it for 12 rounds, lacking quality but take nothing away from these 2 warriors. Made up for Derek, I hope he retires on a win, but so often they don't, that extra payday will be hard to turn down.
