  1. With respect Rev, you have spent the past 12yrs absolving Venkys of any responsibility whatsoever for our current predicament. Face value or written testimony, you ignore it all, have you changed your mind with the latest shit show?
  2. Mbape? How about Blackburn Rovers 2023? Are we one striker away from promotion with our means?
  3. Do you still think we are just 1 striker away from promotion Exiled?
  4. Far be it from me to stick up for the corridors of no power down at Ewood, but.... Jack Walker, Bill Fox, Rob Coar and John Willaims didn't miss games to sign players or sell players, what a load of bunkum Mercer.
  5. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11676/10261490/paul-lambert-admits-he-is-frustrated-to-be-leaving-blackburn That information came from Paul Lambert himself, him walking actually had a negative impact on his career, but the money promised to rebuild the club during the interview process was a fib, that is why he resigned. All to familiar under these owners I'm afraid..
  6. Add to that this absolute fantasy that Blackburn Rovers 2023 are paying him £65k a week wages. If it doesn't make sense its probably not true den.
  7. Lambert was sold a pup and to his credit he resigned in protest, all credit to him I say. I agree with you Jim, if I was JDT I'd be considering my future, he must be wondering why we didn't cash in on Diaz and now this......
  8. Absolutely no chance Asia, the £10m buy out clause if we reach the Prem has bullshit written all over it too. Tell the fans what they want to hear and whilst Nixon is at it, maybe he’s found the £50m war chest!
  9. We got hammered at Rotherham, we couldn’t defend? We could have had Shearer up front and we’d have lost 2-4. We are lacking all over the park.
  10. We have a striker that has scored over 30 goals in 2 seasons. A striker addition hasn’t put paid to our playoff hopes, we are lacking all over the park. Im surprised you can’t see that.
  11. I noticed recently that the powers that be at Everton were staying away due to potential threats from fans. It could have been propaganda from the owners, which we’ve been on the end of, or it could have been genuine. I could never see that ever happening here, that element doesn’t exist here these days and 99% of the time that’s a good thing. But right now, or back in 2011, I wish it did.
  12. Not everyone, see Wigan relegation under king rat 😉
  13. I’m not going against Wigan as a direct protest at this shambles. They don’t deserve my support, they don’t care about me as a supporter, so they can piss off.
  14. Or trying to appease the fans with this ‘£10m Premiership loanee’….. All irrelevant now anyway, piss up in brewery springs to mind.
  15. Why are we agreeing to pay £10m for a lad that clearly isn't Premiership quality? Not that we'd go up anyway, but why are we doing that? I think the whole deal stinks to be honest and if I was the manager I'd be considering my position, why would he want to work with a bunch of rank amateurs?
  16. He's not actually saying that den, he said over the past 25yrs! He's been on a fishing trip and caught a few, me included. I don't need to look at numbers and average attendances to understand that for the much of the past 25yrs this club has been an absolute joy to behold, an integral part of mine and every other Rovers fans life, the lifeblood of the town and I'm proud as punch at what we achieved. Sadly, as soon as those morons from Pune walked through the door that all changed and here we are. Championship Club with the worst owners in football. Have we signed anyone yet?
  17. I think you're taking the piss to be frank Paul. The Mark Hughes era was superb, as just one example.
  18. I assume you were in a rush when you wrote that and added a 1 instead or a 2. 25yrs ago we were playing European football against Lyon under the stewardship of a future England manager and I could go on, but Matty has eloquently beaten me to it.
  19. They were clearly not the real fanbase.. We are back to our natural level for me Tyrone, the gates and support we achieved before Jack came in, but if they start to walk away it will be job done for some at the club.
  20. Of course it is... We have a goal scorer in Diaz, he can bring others into play and has scored over 30 goals in the past 2 season. Despite already having the credentials you're looking for, do you think we adding O'brien to this side will secure promotion?
  21. I do wonder if making fans feel as despondent as this isn’t the goal of some involved with the club. What is to love about Blackburn Rovers in 2023? How does the future look for this football club under these owners? I’m truly amazed the fans continue to turn up both home and away, but many more inept, incompetent fook ups like this will eventually see us leaving in droves.
  22. Does anyone enjoy listening to KP on commentary? He’s got a real patronising tone and style to his delivery. He’s not as bad as Flintoff, but he’s not my cup of tea.
  23. If making us better to watch is the goal, then bringing him in would probably do that. I thought he was a player at Udders, had real quality in the games I saw. But he’s not leading this side to promotion and he’ll be gone in May, you have to wonder what the strategy is.
  24. Missing out on this lad is one thing, but this side is miles away from being contenders for promotion, which makes him coming in pretty irrelevant for me.
  25. Well Neil Etheridge got the appropriate reaction on Tuesday night - A Blackburn Rovers win. Onwards and upwards.
