  1. I can’t see us triggering his one year extension as our highest player. I only see him leaving on a free or signing a 3 year deal on reduced terms.
  2. Suspect Dack will go to Sunderland on a free in summer - so we’ll need a number 10 as well.
  3. Hopefully this ends what really is a silly discussion, but to be clear there’s there’s two different conversations here. There’s the first question which was “which of the players are you bumping into regularly?” which I answered. Then a secondary question of “who is telling you these things?”. Obviously, people that you simply bump into on the street aren’t gossiping about the inner workings of the club. They’re examples for question one: players that you see often because they live/socialise locally. Then there are some players (and coaches/scouts/recruitment/medical staff/family members) who will happily tell me (and plenty of others) some more ‘secret’/private/detailed things. I’d rather not going into the specifics of who's in the second group because I wouldn’t want to upset any more personable friendships. However as an example of group one, today I saw Ben Brereton getting his haircut at Form in Clitheroe after training and I’ve just driven past JDT in Whalley.
  4. On the ITK scale I’m a 3/10 at best, there’s plenty more that know much more and are much more reliable. I’ve absolutely no idea on the question!
  5. To be fair Paul is usually knocking around 🫣
  6. The relevance is it’s a very small community where everyone knows everyone. My best friend has the contract for construction work at Brockhall. I appreciate it may sound unusual but it’s quite normal.
  7. Left is Kaminski in a white shirt. Left of Kaminski is Missus Hedges. Next to Kaminski is Ayala. The guy in denim to the right of Ayala is Dolan’s brother.
  8. This is the players lounge at our last home game vs. Reading…
  9. He’s not much else going on at the moment
  10. Are you from Blackburn out of interest? It’s a very small place, I’m 32 and I’d say I know most 25-35 year olds in my local area. That’s not unusual, it’s pretty much the case with everyone. I got my haircut next to Brereton last week in Clitheroe. I bumped into S. Wharton walking my dog in Barrow this week. I was sat with the first team coaches at the Bull in Langho last weekend. I played 5 a side with one of the physios on Monday.
  11. I’d say “Young Adam looks a player!” and they’d say “He’s really good. But his attitude isn’t brilliant, last month he stormed off the pitch after getting caught in training.”

  13. The players, usually.
  14. Is anyone really surprised? Who here can legitimately tell me the last time you watch Rovers be faced with a real big season defining moment and this team managing to fight to a victory?
  15. And that’s despite being up until 2am gaming most nights, storming off the training ground if someone tackles him and making threats on his future to the DOF. If someone can manage him we’ve got some player.
  16. The players are bottlers. They’ll get absolutely tonked by Burnley. Season is over, develop the young talent for next season. I’ve no need to see anymore from players we don’t own (Morton, Thomas) or players we won’t have next season (Ayala, Dack, Brereton) or players we desperately need rid of (Gallagher).
  17. There’s a huge problem with culture at Ewood if you ask me. I’ve said it before today and it’s not reactive to the current score line, but too many players are happy to accept not being quite good enough. The fans know what’s coming next when it comes to these games, it’s entirely predictable. That will take new players and a new culture before the issue is addressed which to be fair I believe GB and JDT are capable of managing. As a side note, having a number 9 that offers no threat is a serious disadvantage. When watching the second half watch how many times Gallagher connects with the ball in the 18 yard box. He misses headers and isn’t in the right place when balls are played in almost consistently.
  18. They’ve given everyone 7 year deals and spread the payments over the same period.

    I love this idea @StubbsUK
  20. Only because the other option is Vale. Who is absolutely diabolical.
  21. “Bradley, stay in the 18 yard box as soon as possible. They’re all instructed to pass to you. All we need from you is to finish the chances.”
  22. Pears JRC Carter Hyam Pickering Travis Wharton Thomas Szmodics BBD Dack
  23. I said it was all very Mowbray, that’s been coming.
  24. Birmingham much the better side so far.
  25. Should be two down here, it all feels very Tony Mowbray at the moment.
