  1. The biggest decision for Mowbray to make today is who should partner Brereton in the front 2 whether it should Dolan(who would be my choice), Gallagher or Kharda?
  2. I don't think I am worried about their tactics as I think its will suit our back 3 completely
  3. If we are going to sign them permanent will be next summer and not in January cos of the FFP rules.
  4. not blinkered at all JH. Mowbray has be very open and honest over the contract issue. Is he liar? Look at the last 4 years and the club runs a lost over those years greater than 39 millions so why the club sold the training ground to the owners and they have back Mowbray with his 3 year plan for promote but it appears that year 4 with smaller and younger squad its 3 players in Rothwell, Lenihan and Nyambe have refuse to sign their new improve contract offers on their agent advice. We held contracts talks with Kaminski last week I believe and on Brereton I expect he will sold in the summer unless we get promote this season. Plus on both have 12 club options for next season Well we have been in talks with Nyambe and Rothwell for at least the 18 months so your point is wrong.
  5. Thats where me and you will differ of opinion as running with that sort of wages to turnover is unsustainable past one season. Yes we might have owners are willing to plug that gap for that season given the pandemic. But each season is not. Yes cut the wages of players that's aren't value for money and The players who we release in the summer we were right to do so. We have players coming through to fill that void and given that Mowbray had 31 players at his disposal last season and got nowhere. Whilst this season with smaller squad and younger squad we are 4th in the league. We need a proper business plan being develop by the club as I have said several different times on here. Yes offer current players new improve contracts but sensible increases in wages. I would like a new contract for Dolan and Travis being offered already. Plus now we are supporters are back in stadiums, I want to see the club announce sensible pricing for season tickets and match day tickets with different ideas like I have mention like family ticket for 4 or parent and child season ticket. If we offered Season tickets and match day tickets at sensible and reasonable we will get more on and more merchandise being sold and refreshments in the ground even tho they need improving and prices are ridiculous. Yes we got roughly 10 million pounds but thats on next season accounts You have heard from Mowbray who has said there is a significant gap between the club offer and what their agents are demanding. I don't know how many times we need to go over this but we shouldn't be over paying on wages for them. We will always have assets on the books if we keep to sensible transfer plan and look for gems in the market and invest in good players then we will have them on the books.
  6. I don't want to get to deep into a simple comment so lets leave it there. Every person will make they own decision for themselves whether or not to attend. Its their own personal choice which I said from day one.
  7. I think Birmingham style of getting the ball in the box for Deeney and others will suit our back 3.
  8. Definitely not Brereton Diaz only have to at his instragram account but Johnson been quiet No reasons for any games not to allow fans given the rules in place. Stopping fans is just going to make more fans walk away from the game
  9. That gave a wage to turnover ratio of 200 per cent, up from 158 per cent in 2019/20. that's is shocking and why we see this season wage bill reduced and rightly so. You not agree @JHRover?
  10. It's true but if you want to keep ignoring what management have repeating said to different people including journalists, fans forum and fans then that's down to yourself. Who knows which clubs are interest in them or what their agents are saying to them. If they want to move on then that's their choice. What panic? It's perfect normal to be in talks with players when they had 18 months left on their contracts. but then you criticise the club for Sam Gallagher contracts talks almost being done. So the Club can't win here.
  11. All 3 players have been offered new improve contracts by the club
  12. That's been my exact point for the last 2 days on here
  13. No one says it black and white but it's personal choice and what they want to do. Never used the word dangerous in that context so no idea why you are quoting that. The quote isn't patronising or point scoring but what we have to do unless what was the point in getting vaccinated and having the lockdowns for 18 months if we never can resume normal life or the best we can
  14. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp isn’t sure Premier League season circuit breaker is solution to combating Omicron variant https://t.co/y5x32Cta60 https://t.co/xQALNPuTKj
  15. Bur they haven't left yet and if they won't accept our improve contracts deals then that's their choice and risk. Selling the Training ground got us to apply and with the FFP Rules but as per usual you want to head in the sand again. It isn't a bizarre as you would enter contract talks with most players when they 18 months left on their contracts. Yes you can renew contracts but ONLY for the same weekly wages. In the second season in the Championship we were spending 189% on wages compare to our turnover
  16. Plenty of people Including Whitty and Vallance have used that quote. Surely that's works the other way when they are preaching to others about not going and shutting down parts of our lives?
  17. Yet again I ain't the problem cos I want to enjoy a normal life as much as possible and no more lockdowns. Exactly by allowing people to continue their daily activities if they have no symptoms and not keep being over cautious. If you want to over cautious then be like that but as RevidgeBlue said yesterday that people will make their own choices as what they want to do. Even Chris Whitty has said it a personal choice to what want to do and their priorities.. Well it would 6 months later than Christmas but we got things back to normal and back to doing our social activities and rightly so. Being back at Ewood Park and attending away matches as been excellent and very enjoyable. Are you still attending games? Well you couldn't be further from that point but I will keep those sort of things private and off this messageboard.
  18. Furious about what cos I want to keep attending football matches and people want to keep doing their social activities. What about all the people who suffer mental health problems cos of lockdowns and not being allow to normal daily lives. Or don't they matter tho? If you want to do self lockdown then that's do it but we have learn to live with the virus.
  19. Why bizarre given that he has 18 months left is the right time to start discussing a new contract but you seem forgotten or want to but we started Rothwell and Nyambe contracts talks about 12/15 months ago. You been told why no progress has happen but you won't accept the reasons why
  20. 40% of the Armstrong's transfer money went to Newcastle as part of the original transfer deal who we agreed 40% sell on clause
  21. I don't. The PL and EFL have set the rules for cancellation to happen plus if fans follow then they is significant less risk in catching the virus given that's you are outside, weather conditions, facemasks, etc.. You are totally correct. People look forward to watching and attending football festive. Plus we have to think of people mental health by cancelling football over this period..
  22. Why wouldn't our game go ahead given that both clubs have done PCR testing this week and only 3 players are affected?
