  1. Gibson panicked about Woodgate taking the club down. He wanted him appointed and get what he asked for. When Pulis announced he wants going, it was clear that Woodgate would get the job so why did Gibson wait so long to appoint him. strange. Birmangham have had most managers and will be surprise if Karanka is still employed by end of the 20/21 season with Birmingham City record with manager. Was Karanka even 1st choice. They have had Rowett, Zola, Redknapp, Cotterill, Monk, Clotet. You are totally corrected by they are run by loons. Club owners won't like be told that Hughton price and terms are this. if thats his attitude do you really think they are going to appoint him? Do you see Watford appoint Hughton as manager?
  2. You seen Parker work at Fulham even he was on the coaching staff under previous manager there. He had his own ideas how he wanted his teams to play which was different to previous manager. and he achieve promotion there. Bournemouth need a massive turnover in players. Some haven't perform last season. Hughton is in 60 years old and he got the Newcastle head coach job on the back of Kinnear health problems and Ashley not wanting Shearer to stay on. So he was once a rookie manager so it can work for some clubs. I can understand why some clubs are going for head coach route with them focusing on training and coaching the team whilst recruitment is left to others to scout players and do the leg work as such. I do wonder if Hughton wants too much control of non-coaching matters or too much money wages wise. Some managers would complete control and some people are working together with sporting director/director of football.
  3. Its a fair point about Stagnant about Bournemouth but if they feel that Tindall is the man plus if finances are being tighter this summer with clubs who have made internal appointment after a change of manager which has been seen at League 1 and 2 clubs. I'm sure Tindall has his own ideas and if the squad is change enough it come work. you do bring up Hughton name every time but why aren't clubs not appointing him I wonder?
  4. Darren Peacock David Goodwillie Christian Dailly Javi De Pedro Egil Ostenstad Sebastian Perez
  5. Looking like Bournemouth will appoint Jason Tindall as their next manager replacing Eddie Howe from media reports like the one below
  6. And up to the lockdown we were on course to improve the defence massively compare to the previous season. Thats an opinion not fact. In My Opinion, which my point is about I think with a fully fit Dack we would have finish higher and possible in top 6. (Thats my opinion)
  7. I am discussing the 19/20 season which my argument is about.
  8. It will be very interesting to see how well Brentford do replace them. They been linked with Ivan Toney which seems a very different type of striker to Watkins.
  9. Yes there is some good players out there whether out of contract, possible cheap fee or possible loan deals. No I haven't at all. Well without Dack in the team for half a season we improved our goal record. Plus Graham not part of starting lineup much. Armstrong step up to the mark and produce the goods. Imagine if Dack was available we might produce better results and get that top 6. Our goal conceded was better than last pre Covid lockdown but after the lockdown Walton was pathetic. If you look at the stats used by Rovers Chat YouTube videos back this up.
  10. Watkins linked with Palace and Villa. Benrahma linked with Spurs and Chelsea Those 2 will be missed.
  11. As long as in top 6 after 46 games that's all matters. Ask Swansea that one. Cardiff wasn't in the top 6 until game 39. Forest spent the majority of the season in top 6 and after 46 games wasn't in top 6 when it matters..
  12. Rovers could look at free agent Brad Smith https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18631280.left-back-available-rovers-wait-downing-decision/
  13. Exactly Tom..and haven't you met Balaji in Pune during your time on fans forum?
  14. I meant as a partnership up front..which we havent seen properly.
  15. Well I have zero interest in non-league football Ewood sadly. I am Rovers fan and I watch my team play. Don't mind attend the odd non Rovers game but deffo couldnt do regular Which was 6 less than the season before. Dack's injury had an massive impact on our season so please don't keep dismissing it.
  16. Getting in 1st choice keeper and centre back is the priority
  17. But you missed the factor of Dack missing for half a season and we improved. We improved our goals scored aswell. Like if you took Grabban out of Forest team for half of a season they would be mid/lower half of table. Brentford take Watkins out of that team for 6 months they would be mid table.
  18. I rather watched Premier League or Championship game any day of the week. Don't mind watching the odd game of league 1 or 2 a season but wouldn't want that football every week of the season. That's why I was very happy getting out of league 1 at the first attempt under Mowbray like we did. Look at Sunderland who are league 1 for a 3rd season or how long it took Leeds or Sheffield United to get out of league 1. I wouldn't have minded watching Dunn's Barrow team in a couple of games as long as Rovers weren't playing. That's not going to happen this season due to Covid
  19. But we are tho improving tho. We finish 11th and that's half a season without Dack aswell. We scored more goals than the season before yet half a season without Dack and Graham's role with the team being less. So that's it is improvement isn't it?
  20. Who buying us? So you want to start all over again in north west counties league then?
  21. Umbro seems behind releasing their kits for clubs alot of clubs like Bournemouth, Nurnberg, Huddersfield, Brentford, Hull City, Girona. So it isn't us who kits having been release yet Thats just from looking on the Umbro.co.uk website
