  1. Who would be in your straight line up? Carter is back from Suspension but Poveda is out of this game. my team would be the same starting 11 that started against Luton. Carter back on bench for Maglorie. Maybe McBride for Cirino aswell
  2. Isn't it now Balaji who runs the club now? and why Balaji's right hand man Pasha is here running the club as Balaji's rep here? @J*B, Didn't you say once that Pasha and Babu run Balaji's investments for him and he is the main owner now?
  3. Yes Mowbray has said we can't build the club on loan but he keeps signing them like Khadra even tho he gave Chapman a 12 months extension so whats the point in that or why not use JRC further forward. Also I never said that we should only built the club on just our academy players tho Parson but they should be part of the Squad and transfer plan going forward. I also said that we need to look for talent players in league 1 and 2 who can step up to championship aswell signing a some experience players from PL and championship plus the overseas market. On Saturday game, we should have won the game by the time they scored their second, and to be fair We have experience players at the back in Kaminski, Nyambe, Lenihan, Ayala and they should be able to dealt with both goals much better Mowbray. But I said yesterday to yourself. I have been very clear and open that I want a new manager in place and who my choices would be and how I see the going forward transfer plan wise. How much clearly do you need it?
  4. We can keep asking the questions. Get Bayes, Crooke and Sharpe to keep asking questions. Get fans forum members to ask questions at the meetings like Only2garners and K-Hod say they will do
  5. I've been saying that for months now. Bringing through our academy players will be part of any strategy going forward and beyond. Whilst looking for talent players in Scotland, league 1 and 2 plus overseas. But I don't expect us to be spending millions on buy proven players each season. Signing the odd experience players yes. Both would good appointments here
  6. Well its not pointless at all as we need rectify the problems of the lack of proper and organised transfer planning during the last transfer window for future windows
  7. well its doesn't matter at the end of the day so its a pointless debate. Armstrong was sold and we signed who we did. well some us want to know and will keep asking the questions into the failing to sign a striker. Maja would be very good signing for us
  8. Yes he kept them up but he had 41 games to keep them up. Fans have booed him and his team about 2 home games already this season off at full time. but not a Forest We aren't talking Rovers here. Hughton's tactics and style is out of date and zero answers how to deal with Moore when McCarthy sent him on. Hughton have NO plan to deal with him. McCarthy is doing a good job there and has the perfect striker for him in Moore. Would I want him at Rovers? Still the answer is no I have been quite clear and open who I would bring in to replacement Mowbray. How much clearly do you need it? He got the Newcastle jib by luck. Cos Ashley didn't renew Shearer contract and back his plan for promotion and Kinnear have some bad health news. Bringing through academy players is going to be key part of any transfer policy in the future. Do you accept that? who doesn't want that tho? I just don't want to keep reckless spending each season and have a proper and organise transfer plan for each window.
  9. But Armstrong was sold tho. Fact. I've explained the FFP situation to you before and you just won't accept it or understand it so I have nothing to add to my original post. You seem the Nixon reports in today's paper why the deal didn't happen plus his comments on Radio Lancashire. Bbrovers2288 post on here confirm the deal we were looking at. So do you anything that says all that info I'd wrong?
  10. Cos of the reasons I've already posted! Yet again I wouldn't trust Hughton any control of transfers. Look at the last 2 years of his Brighton spell. Wasted alot of money. Well looks at his last 12 months at Forest and the Forest fans are already of his tactics. No idea today how to impact the game when it changed to Cardiff leading. Same against us. His tactics and style is far too negative. Does he have a track record in being through academy players? Forest? Where are they in the league? Didn't we beat them 2-1 recently? Bring through Academy players will play a key part in our future transfer a d recruitment plan we have going forward..
  11. Thanks for reply. Cooper would be good appointment. Ainswort would aswell.
  12. Mowbray. Bit like I have repeatedly said my opinion is we need a new manager with fresh ideas, formation and tactics. I've said who I put on my shortlist. I can't be any more than that Who would you like choose Bbrovers2288 and why? Who would you like choose Pete and why?
  13. Agreeing with one of mine suggestion of who to replace Mowbray with there
  14. Just look at today's game, he had no plan to change his team or formation when Cardiff starting to get on the front foot and Moore starting to influence the game. Even at 2-1 he still didn't do anything differently. Still think his mind set is far too defensive with the players he has there. He isn't the right fit for our club and wouldnt be far too negative tactical wise. Would he keep developing our good academy players.
  15. Another pointless dig from your arm chair
  16. Why would he do that? I wouldn't drop him at all
  17. If we losing over 20 million each season and over 3 seasons that 60 million pounds when FFP rules say 39 million pounds is only allow in 3 season cycle. So even Armstrong sale we are still on the borderline of breaking FFP. Last season we allow Mowbray a massive squad to get us promote and he failed to deliver. Next season means we lose the first season spend after promotion and we sign Armstrong, Davenport, Rothwell and Brereton for transfer fees(9 to 10 million pounds spent there). So that's give us more room spend money and that's probably why Maja was loan deal leading to permanent deal next season. Helps with FFP rules.
  18. last season is last season. Plenty has changes including 6 teams, loads of transfers and managerial changes.
  19. Would he be the right fit for the club and bring through youth players and be able to find bargains? For me, He isn't the right fit for us and I feel they are better options out there currently who we bring in to replace Mowbray
  20. I had the same thought about Hughton whilst he was Brighton and We once had a discuss about Hughton coming here on a different social media platform and we disagree on him, his style and his performance at Brighton. I wouldn't want him here at all The fans today made their feelings clear today about him.
  21. FFP is the problem. Where I believe next summer we will allow to spend a reasonable chunk of the Armstrong and I would expect a new manager to be place by then
  22. I think Roversfan99 is good passionate Rovers fan and good poster on here for the record. but I just found that sort of comment from him strange and unwarranted. and by the way I ain't on one at all today what about the loan fee that teams want or wages? Instead we sign another left back who can further forward and another asset on the books. Money wasn't the problem for not signing a striker. We had Maja in the building until the back injury was found during his medical. Also chasing your a player for weeks who had no interest in coming here but you wanted to give him time to decide. Last seaosn form guide doesn't matter. Who knows? I can't predict what will end but I did say this squad is mid table quality. Plus you have transfer window to add players to. I would be happy with 9th place this season. wouldn't you? The player had chosen Rovers over Forest. Bordeaux would have got their money and thats situation would help us FFP wise. He was set to come here.
