  1. I'm looking forward to squad rebuild under Mowbray. These 2 websites have suggested potential keeper options https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/3-goalkeepers-that-blackburn-rovers-should-be-targeting-after-frustrating-transfer-update-emerges/ https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/transfer-news/blackburn-rovers-transfers-brighton-walton-18083333
  2. Said previously Walton would go back to Brighton and challenge for number 1 spot at the end of the season. We wont be signing Steele or Button.
  3. The Newsroom is a brilliant series to watch
  4. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18373769.neil-warnock-reveals-rovers-interest-appointing/ Also reveals he had line up Sol Bamba and Hoilett to join us back then.
  5. I watched the Sunderland documentary series and I was impressed with Charlie. Pushing staff to reach targets. Donald, I was impress with his drive and wanting to the best for the Sunderland. I thought it was good to see the insight into transfers negotiating. Maja was never going to sign a new contract there. You could tell by his body language in the 2nd episode. Plus as Richard Hill said in the series the Maja's agent has history in taking players overseas and clubs getting very low fees for players Why the over paid for Grigg? simple cos they were desperate
  6. Looks very similar to wages, the game Football manager 2020 says players are on
  7. I have watched them all the 1st time. Amazing series. Very good
  8. Hows that when the Government will guarantee 80% of your.wage
  9. Thanks for the suggestion. My favourite tv shows are the West Wing, 24 and designated survivor.
  10. Thanks Sparks and Windymiller7 for replies.
  11. Man City owners will continue to pay it's staff wages in full and not used the furlough system. Shame that Liverpool and Spurs decide to use a furlough when both are have massive turnover. Shame players havent took a pay cut and use that money to pay normal club staff wages. Jacob and Josh Murphy have been helping out the NHS by delivery medication to people who cant leave their homes.
  12. Sunderland till I die season 2 is an excellent insight into football. Has anyone ever watch Prison Break or bodyguard tv series? Any there.any good?
  13. WBA chairman has taken 100% pay drop and other senior management at the club will be pay drop.
  14. Burnley could go bust in August https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/11328253/burnley-bust-coronavirus-premier-league-shutdown/
  15. Some top keepers there tho. James shouldn't be there. One thing I will say we have some greats keepers over the PL years.
  16. Agree. Bentley should have gone on to better things but completely lost his way after Hughes left Rovers
  17. Stuart I agree. Premier League clubs should be able to afford their normal staff wages. I don't know how Burnley don't have enough money to go past August. Strange comment. Where all the money gone
  18. Burnley CEO has said today that they will run out of money by August. PL clubs like Liverpool or Newcastle should not be furlough staff. I can understand league 1 and 2 clubs doing it. So far Venkys have paid all staff their wages. But PL players should reduced their wages now by 30 to 50%.
  19. David Bentley Matt Jansen People will Alan Shearer cos of the lack of titles/trophies but PL record goals holder. He went to Newcastle when maybe he should have join Man Utd at that time.
