  1. 1. We know what could have been 2. Did he what? Produced a report for the owners. He said it publicly. Why would he liar?
  2. I was in favour of us playing a more passing style instead of a direct style. But his signings for the past 2 seasons havent help us more to this style has they arent suited to it. I was wrong to back it. We need to go back to our first full season style in Championship/Hughes style would suit these players in 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 or 4-2-3--1 formation.. I agree he doesnt have a clue how to change it and every interview is for the owners to read or listen. He still havent signed a quality permanent centre back in 3 years at this season. Why not? Why didn't we sign Konsa when we got promoted? 3 mil bargain. Why did he not a back up target man like Matt Smith who would be ideal has a back up for Graham
  3. I agree Paul. Pathetic comments to hear and read How could anyone defend his interview today? It was pathetic and a man who lack that winning mentality! He has had more financial backing, time and allowed to improve their scouting, video analysis and data analysis structure then any other manager in Venkys era. But we are no better than off league position wise than our 1st season here. So why is this Tony Mowbray? Barnsley have appointed a good manager who played a style of play and tactics that suits their players. But his comment about their style was wrong.
  4. I agree 100% Lambert was a good appointment and with the right backing when have got us. From the moment he walked into the club he raises expectations and knew what was needed for promotion. He produced a detail report of his short, medium and long term plans for the club. Sent it to the owners who didnt responded so he walked out. Rhodes was never going to be part of Lambert plans here. He isn't target man type of striker that Lambert always prefers using with a number 10, skilful striker or pacey striker. Lambert plays a target man striker(signed Graham for us) with Skilful striker(Signed Watt for us) or pacey striker(signed Jackson for us) during his time here. That's the way Lambert wanted to play. I just wonder how Lambert would have reshaped the squad that summer and how that season would have gone.
  5. I just think the owners will get rid of Mowbray after backing his slow build plan and financially backing it to 20 millions in terms of transfer fees plus wages. We haven't improve in terms of league position or this possession based style hasn't worked this season as we dont have enough players that suit it.
  6. You could have watched highlights of their games this season to see how they conceded their goals. You didnt watch any highlights from the weekend where Pickering was at fault for maybe 1 goal out of 6 and that was not closing the cross down or defending better by Blocking it. But it's still more than you have done Roversfan99 eventhough it's more than you have done. Carter has performed really well there and should be part of our squad next season going forward
  7. No not taken the wrong way at all. I'm fed up of him now and his comments. He needs to go. That's performance based manager bollocks really annoyed me and I found its completely the wrong thing to say in results based industry. We need a new manager or Sporting director/head coach structure in place for next season to move our club forward. Cos under Mowbray's journey we are on highway to nowhere. He said he built a top 6 quality squad here to Andy Bayes. How wrong he was
  8. How is Jaquob Crooke a junior journalist? The article says his position will be review at end of the season. So how is easy assumption? Considering you think he will be still here next season surely you must be happy if his position will be review then?
  9. @roversfan99 anything to say about Crewe clean sheet that Pickering played in last night?
  10. https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-tony-mowbray-future-20387717 Tony Mowbray's position as Blackburn Rovers manager will be reviewed at the end of the current campaign
  11. I would say Mowbray(until this season), Bowyer and Lambert were all decent/good appointments
  12. I've been very impressed by the job Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has done at Burton. Worth a look for us imo. Had a massive impact on them since joining them in terms of results. Other choices you could look at Uwe Rosler with Rob Kelly as his number 2 if you want an overseas head coach with English football experience. Then just look at the out of work British managers out there currently. Some good or decent options. These are :- Chris Wilder, Mark Hughes, Neil Harris or Gary Monk.
  13. Think it's a very good shout for Preston next head coach.
  14. You miss off an important one, Mowbray doesn't do results cos he is performance based manager Mowbray. What a 🤡 he has become now with comments like that. Can't defend him or his comments anymore. They just get strike me as a manager under huge pressure cos his tactical approach or style of play hasn't work, his 2 majority cash signings, 3 players won't re-sign contracts despite being offered new contracts. Needs to be sack immediately .
  15. We be out of embargo shortly I believe. EFL mess up We see in the future
  16. Wasn't that on advice from people they thought they could trust? Haven't FFP rules been relax? Depends who is doing this review
  17. Stop messing with ourtraining ground factilities that Uncle Jack Walker left to the fans and club Waggott and Mowbray. Improve yes but knocking them down no thanks. Mowbray is obsess with the training ground being in open. Hughes, Allardyce, Lambert or Bowyer never had a problem with it. So Mowbray if you dont like it then leave the job. I'm fed up with him moaning about it
  18. So cos they going down they down count then? Did you want to keep of the majority of these out of contract players who have proved they arent they good enough for what we need. I would deffo keep JRC, probably Nyambe and maybe Rothwell but depends on his role within the team under a new manager. Rest can go..not good enough for what we need
  19. So why not watch them? Only 2 minutes
  20. wrong again. I was against us signing Ben Whiteman or Marcus Maddison for the past few summers. I mention us signing Toney in our 1st season back at this level. They are some good players at league 1 level but last summer we didn't sign enough players from overseas and instead sign some players who has turned out ton be awful signings like Ayala and Douglas.
  21. I have seen him through Highlights. But yet again you ignore a very simple and straight forward question. I am not surprise by it with yourself. I will take it you didn't watch the goals they conceded. Probably could have done better with the sixth goal but not at fault for any of the other goals. Why not do some research on the player instead of posting the same comments time after time
