  1. I do always admire your positivity but it's very hard to put a positive spin on the situation. I don't blame Eustace at all, I think he's a good manager but there's no doubt he's had very little impact on results so far. The squad of players he has to work with though is awful so I don't blame him. He's also not had a full week on the training ground yet so it's not his fault. JDT is a very good coach and he couldn't get anything out of this squad either once the games came thick and fast. I completely blame the owners for all of this.
  2. Hudds will beat West Browm and Brum will beat Boro. We can't blame anyone but ourselves though. Two wins in 19 deserves relegation.
  3. These two home games were billed as season defining games before they took place. And they will prove to be season defining. To very little surprise, we didn't win either of them and played poorly in both. We're the only team down there that cannot seem to win a game, aside from Rotherham who incidentally we couldn't beat this season; we've won twice in 19 games; we've had absolutely no new manager bounce; injuries to key players; and the toughest run of fixtures out of anyone down there. I genuinely don't see anyway out of this predicament. We're relying on other teams being worse than us which won't work as we're the second worse team in the league. My only hope is that the championship is a bonkers league and can throw up some crazy results.
  4. You go down to 10 men with over half an hour today gives you little chance of winning the game. If they'd have equalised then at least we'd have had a chance of pushing to try and get a winner with 11. With 10, there was no chance of that.
  5. Well done Kyle. Never want to see him play for the club again after that. Cost us the game. A point good in the circumstances. But 2 points from 3 relegation six pointers is terrible. Still no win for the manager. Shocking.
  6. Feel like a last minute, or last second, winner for Plymouth coming. That will sum up our season. How can you get sent off on a day like today. Shambolic.
  7. A draw would be a great result now given the red card but a terrible one overall. What a horrible situation.
  8. Fuming. You cannot get a red in this kind of game. We will go on to lose now. Disaster.
  9. Better than expected line up with Brittain fit and Hedges on the bench. Siggy playing too offers us more of a goal threat. Back 5 is sensible given who we have in goal. We have to stop any attacks at source as any efforts on our goal will probably go in. We will win today.
  10. Trying to predict any result in the championship is very difficult. It's so unpredictable.
  11. Only 1 of the teams being below us in our run in does not worry me at all. We are rubbish against those teams anyway. We couldn't even beat Rotherham, QPR, Millwall, or Huddersfield at home. I'd much rather play mid table teams who don't have a lot to play for. My worry is that we just don't look anywhere near winning a game against anyone at the moment! I actually think the games against Boro, Sunderland, Bristol City, and Coventry (whose play offs hope may be over by the time we play them) represent much better opportunities for us to pick up points than games against clubs fighting for their lives. Even Leicester may not be as hard a game as it looks as they'll be promoted by then. I do therefore agree with the manager that tomorrow is not a must win as there's still a lot of to play for...but equally it just feels like if we can't beat a poor team like Plymouth then who can we beat.
  12. I think we will win tomorrow. This is the easiest game in our run in so we simply have to win. Plymouth don't have the defensive nous that Millwall do and their players are not experienced at this level so I think they have a strong chance of going down. Leo in goal again is a horrifying thought though. He will make at least one error that costs us a goal so we will need to score two or three to win.
  13. Although I love the club I won't be devastated if we go down as I hate the current version of the club. The Owners and the directors are all completely incompetent and this is exactly what they deserve. I will feel sorry for us fans though as we deserve much better. I actually even quite like the current crop of players. Most of them aren't very good but that's not their fault. I feel like they do give it their all but should not be anywhere near this level. I also think the manager is decent despite the awful start he's made. He's trying to change the style of football when he's got no time on the training ground with the games coming thick and fast. And he's also working with very limited players. If we do go down then he's probably the best man to bring us back up. There are rumours that GB is on gardening leave. I very much hope so! He has overseen the worst recruitment strategy we've seen at the club despite his short tenure. And not to mention the 3 admin errors in one year. Yes, he's not had a budget to work with but he really could not have done much worse overall even with limited funds. All roads lead to Venkys though. Words fail me on them. Hard to describe how useless they are. I hope we can all send a nice thank you message to them when we get relegated to lge 1 for the second time in their ownership!
  14. Stoke and Plymouth may just keep us up. They're our best hopes anyway. I'd also be very surprised if Sheff W can keep up this kind of form and the worry for them will be that they're still not out of the bottom 3 despite incredible results. They have Leeds and Ipswich next so that will be tough. I actually thought we'd draw tonight and then beat Plymouth on Sat, who I think have run out of steam. But I wouldn't back us to beat anyone right now so we could quite easily lose too!
  15. Garbage. Still no win for the new manager. Has there ever been less of an impact from a new manager? Really dour display and a game we never looked like winning. A point is not enough so it's an incredibly poor result..
  16. No thank you. I will switch over at that point and assume Millwall will go on to win.
  17. Turgid. Millwall are absolutely dreadful but we've got nowhere near even having a shot let alone scoring. They will probably score from a corner and win one nil. Sleepwalking to a 1-0 loss here. We can all see it coming.
  18. We are absolutely doomed. Shocking GK. Biggest game in years and we are relying on Leo in goal and Garrett in midfield. Not sure I can even bear to watch this horror show unfold.
  19. The worst team for Leo to be involved in. They will load balls into the box.
  20. This season keeps on giving - Leo back in goal.
  21. Our biggest game in years tonight. I have no faith in the current crop to get a win though. We lack the fight and leadership for a relegation fight whereas Millwall have that in abundance. If we go one down then we never come back to win so we simply have to get the first goal. I think it will be a draw as Eustace is good at getting those.
  22. I meant it in a more symbolic way that everything GB touches in the transfer market is an absolute disaster.
