I can't help remembering that he had a pretty good loan spell with us originally and that was under Coyle! Coyle was a crap manager but he never played Gallagher on the wing or right-back. The lad's confidence is being ruined. I would like to see what a good manager could get out of him before writing him off.

Its a poor show though---commentators said repeatedly that they had never seen a pitch like it---"pebbles and dust" was the quote. However, some poor batting, notably Root. They know he plays that shot a lot and had a man out waiting for it.

There is no plan. He picks 11 players to start, not necessarily in their best positions and when it fails he randomly sends on the cavalry like its a cup-tie. Defensively we are in pieces and should have conceded more. Same every week.
