Not exactly what you're seeking but valuable all the same. The link to the story I posted above is worth opening if you havn't. There were about 230 comments on the BBC's account of our Boro loss at the time I posted. What struck me was the sympathy extended to us by fans of other clubs (not Burnley though! but there was a Preston one!) These fans can see what we are going through and warmly wish us the best in taking on Venkys. That's worth a lot to me. They understand better than some of our own fans! But we are not alone. That's the same as when politicians accused of covering up a scandal, state "I'm unaware of any formal complaint." Presumably when approached Venkys have said "no, we are not interested in selling." Thus things never preceded to the point of a concrete offer ever having been made.

I don't know much about Carlisle I admit but you haven't provided an argument as to why Rovers don't need to lose Venkys. OK it seemingly isn't working out well at Carlisle but its not working out well at Ewood is it? Should we stay as we are?
