We looked really comfortable till the last 15 mins or so. I suppose Ipswich simply got more desperate as time wore on. A pity we didn't get the third when Palmer scuffed his shot. Loved our fitness and our pressing, first to the ball and all that, we played some delightful football at times and at least we didn't lose our first match of the season as we usually do. A good away point, one we would have settled for before the game. Finally, we did not look out of place in this division, far from it.

Let's hope so. He hasn't been a prolific scorer in a weaker league and we all said 3 million was too big an ask when we first heard it. We still need a big physical presence in the middle up there and at the back and we still need a winger. So plenty to do but Armstrong is a known quantity, popular with the players and good luck to him.
