Also Venkys tend to be at one extreme or another, If they pay up big-time for a player and he doesn't justify the fee then they will likely freeze the funding and go back to loans and freebies. Mowbray will know he has to be careful, he can't take their support for granted, they are nothing if not erratic.
-
Jason Lowe?
-
Yes true but it is a gamble like when Dalglish paid so much for Andy Carroll and lost.
-
You are aware that the loan window ends on 31 August aren't you? I'm sure Forest are! What does it matter what Mowbray thinks of the player if the club want 12M? Crazy! I agree with Mowbray and Rovers---6M.
-
Thank you! Seems perfectly understandable to me but you get all kinds on here!
-
Don't worry! 2 posts on and he likes a post that says the same thing as I did! Completely loopy!
-
No! Can you read? Are you always looking for a row?
-
What have they done to deserve Oystons and Coyle. If Blackpool fans ever wondered when they would reach absolute rock bottom, well this is it. Whatever happens to Rovers now I'll be able to console myself that "there is always someone worse off than yourself"!
-
If he really was worth 12M Forest would be keeping him and playing him! But this is what happens when you run out of options and time.
-
Agree! What's the point of making him into something only for Forest to take him back or seek bigger offers? Only want him if we can keep him.
-
You missed Bryan Douglas I guess? Absolute genius.
-
We might then lose 6-5! Back to the Hodgson days.
-
Hopeless though.
-
Mark Hughes turning out that way too.
-
Ripley's England injury was a big factor but basically managers worked us out---we simply couldn't defend.
-
Yes, but on the sidelines?
-
Well I'm guessing Chapman and I look forward to it.
-
We worry that Graham won't last the season and we have to take him off every game to save him for the next one. And his presence is absolutely crucial to the team's success, we have no-one else like him. To sign someone who, at 25, has a terrible injury record, does not seem sensible to me.
-
Actually had to do a double take, I thought what the hell are we doing playing in white shirts at home?!
-
A great pity too, Both Freeman and McGinn looked really good.At least TM's targets were sound! Obviously McGinn not coming Philip, he signed and played for Villa!
-
The successful signings were great and we went up, which was the aim but what proportion of signings were failures? About 50% I'd guess.
-
I understand how they felt!
-
Let's hope Jan isn't too late.
-
"in the wings"---its a sign I tell you! Chapman's coming home!
-
I'm sorry, I didn't know.
