  1. Just moving his goal posts yet again with zero accountability for the rubbish he decided off his own bat to implement for 2 seasons. Unreal at times he is.
  2. Upper tier ? When it was on sale first a few seasons ago they were all moaning saying they wanted to be in the lower. Rovers fans are an odd lot at times but if there is a stranger mob than Preston iv'e yet to come across them. Not including Burnley for obvious reasons, they are a breed unto themselves. Although even they are vastly watered down these days seeing as half of them are Premier league fans who know nothing else.
  3. I agree and i like him as well its been good to see someone physical and willing to get forwards as well. Just think he's a bit raw for some of the complicated stuff our mon tries. He was all over the place v Fulham before he got sent off as they closed him and our back line down forcing panic. Mind you Edun going missing all night to one side of him didn't help so maybe having Pickering would make a difference.
  4. I'm worried about Van Heck in a back 3 i'm no fan of Johnson but would probably have him start if they are going that way.
  5. Another example of why it's brainlessly stupid. Other night v Peterborough it was 22 and then Preston rock up a few weeks later and it's FOURTEEN QUID more !!! Local derby yes but it's the same division for gods sake and they aren't a big fish in it or anything. I pray their lot will see the light and shun it but i doubt it. Too many once a season Rovers hating day trippers jump on this from the badlands between Preston and Blackburn. Our lot on the whole don't really give much of a stuff but we'll still sell about 4k which added to STs takes it to a whopping 12 thousand home fans. It's not about our lot though it's about fleecing the day trippers and the powers that be will be happy with the 16/17k gate and an easy afternoon in hospitality. How often does the chance of a 20 thousand plus gate present itself these days and a chance for re-engagement ?
  6. I don't think the position he's asked to play at Rovers suits him in terms of making the best of what he's capable of and it shows.
  7. Somebody might make a real player out of Rothwell if they get hold of him.
  8. I thought there's something unusual about that this season it seems like they don't want people arriving unannounced at a lot of grounds. Another industry using the old 'rona' as an excuse for something else. I'm one of those who only knows if i can be free to go either later on Friday or Sat morning so with no pay on the day it's a no show. You'd easily get a few hundred extra pitching up on the day for one like this, football pissing fans off yet again !
  9. I doubt very much there's a better footballer at the club than Bradley Dack but even when he's fit and playing he blows hot and cold on the pitch. Buckley might have the tools to be a more consistent all rounder though who becomes an integral part of the team.
  10. Not on there tonight but if there isn't a lot left maybe they've taken them down. Must be a hell of a long time since we sold 2k for stoke but you never know. The youth revolution is catching fire it's just a pity the home support isn't as buoyant as the away, unless it's £14.60 of course 😆
  11. Similar teams in similar positions, got to be a draw coming up here. Tickets don't appear to be on sale online ?
  12. Hes been doing it for nowt since April.
  13. The mowbrometer. Get walloped by a good side he's the Coyle of the present, stuff a crap side and he's the new Kenny. Really he's just midtable Mogga and the pendulum is stuck in the middle with most in the outside world.
  14. Kean was a morally corrupt money driven snake and a useless manager. Also nothing more than a bibs and cones coach despite some of the tripe on here about him supposedly being a well thought of one. He was out of work when he got the Rovers gig which will have been down to Anderson. He's done nothing of note in the last 9 years in terms of the top 2 tiers of any standard of professional football. His contract was 10 times above his level of ability and he only got anywhere near it because of back stabbing and jobs for the boys. Lets all agree on that and put him to bed once and for all.
  15. He was crap but now he isn't and that's all that matters bollocks to the point scoring saddos. I still wouldn't have committed that 7 million when we did as its taken years for him to look like a 7 mill striker. Then if we lose him soon for less than double it's all been a waste of time anyway unless we finish in top 6. Cool finisher and looks great carrying the ball goalwards he almost glides with it. We'll miss him when he's gone so better enjoy him and make the most of it whilst he's here. So no bottling the top 6 Mr Mowbray, go to places like Stoke and look for a win please.
  16. Can't fault anything tonight it was a thoroughly professional performance from such a young team. Energy levels great throughout, as they should be. That's a plus with having so many young hungry players and in this team no there's no hiding place for passengers. Lack a bit of composure at times but we don't miss the likes of Evans and co one bit and i knew we wouldn't. Youth is the way to go and a bit of patience i hope they keep it up i'm loving this season on the pitch, Fulham aside. Well done tonight players, manager and those who braved the weather and turned up an unfashionable game. Everyone in Ewood deserved that result and seeing some nice goals.
  17. Stop the opposition first, all out attack when you go behind. Yet when we do go after teams on the front foot we tend to win.
  18. The finger always gets pointed by the club towards the players when this happens in this era. Fact is some of these should have been sorted a long time ago when they are happy to sign before other factors come into play. Truth will be in some cases both sides have played silly buggers but losing your core good players for next to nothing is poor. No getting away from it and it will probably derail the most promising season in a while. Well done one and all, this club is run by self serving ametuers. We are being taken for mugs again in prep for the next Waggot/Mopwbray lead downgrade.
  19. Does Barry want promotion or just investment signings and kids to sell on so his pals in the middle can make their cut ?
  20. I know it's coming up to panto season but this is taking it a bit far 😉
  21. Did big Barry pick Gallagher as well ? How did they get the cash for that one was it yet another investment signing ? Or in fact were they both actually just done by Mowbray and the agent / recruitment gang because they were getable and fit the young English remit ?
  22. This is the problem when you kow tow to the big clubs promising games for their starlets you have to get them on the grass. For every Elliot there are 10 Clarksons and TM loves playing around with these scenarios anyway. So best we can hope for is he clicks into gear at some point. Because as long as he's here he'll keep being involved, often in front of better options.
  23. There was a bonus written into it for not far off his premier league salary taking his earnings to 3 mill per year. Nixon even did a piece saying Keans potential earnings were 10 million over his Rovers contract. No wonder they wouldn't sack the pig.
  24. What are they even getting bonuses for unless they are hitting a target ?
