And the reason Sheff Utd sold that amount was simply did to the price. They would normally have brought no more than 2-2500. I truly believe you about your conversation and the content with Waggott and if some posters don't want to believe it then don't shoot the messenger. What I doubt is the veracity of what Waggott said as only a few weeks ago either Mowbray or Waggott said the opposite of what was said to Paul. It was Lenihan that was close to signing then and miles apart with Nyambe and Rothwell. I have heard things that Waggott has said in the lounges pre match that just hasn't turned out to be right. Frankly I have no trust or faith in what Waggott says but Paul is only relating what he has been told.

If the allegations are talked about on the show and he actually is implicated could it not potentially be sub judice as there is a likelihood it will end up in court? I think for all parties it's sensible.

Talk about contrasting games. On Wednesday we threw in the towel and surrendered with a whimper. Today we rolled our sleeves up and wanted to scrap and fight but more importantly show some pride. Having seen all of Mowbrays games in charge I think today was the first time we had some natural width, not wide strikers or inverted wingers but square pegs in the right flaming holes. And for me it was a fundamental difference with Poveda and Khedra running at full backs and putting crosses in. The pitch was made wider than ever and the benefit was there to be seen. I accept that defensively they weren't great. I thought Davenport was our best player today with lots of players not far behind him but a special mention to Scott Wharton. He looked a little rusty and really tired towards the end but he can be delighted with his contribution today. Alongside him Lenihan was solid although I think he picked up his fifth booking today (I stand to be corrected on that though) from a woefully inadequate referee who fell way below the expected standard although in a perverse way his denying of us a clear penalty seemed to anger the players and the crowd and the tempo was raised. All in all it's a good end to an awful week but with yer man in charge who knows what the Bristol game will bring.

I saw Scott play for the under 23's last week and whilst his fitness was fine his timing was all over the place. I just hope Mowbray isn't throwing him under the bus.

What a great servant to Rovers. And if I'm not mistaken he still holds the record for appearances for us. And he's still working too. Happy birthday Faz.

Why did Butterfield delete his post then? This loyalty thing is a two way street. We took him from Gillingham and helped make him the player has become. We have supported him through two had injuries even giving him a new contract. Mowbray effectively kept him out of prison. And he repays the club by liking a post celebratory biggest ever home defeat. But the big worry is he (and you seemingly) doesn't think he has done anything wrong.

I seem to remember that Salgado offered to remove the clause to help the team fight relegation. But that lot didn't want to know.

I'm so angry at these two clowns particularly Dack. He has been injured for the best part of two years and in that time got a new deal and the unwavering support of the club and the fans. And he likes the content of a post on social media from an opponent celebrating our highest ever home league defeat.
