I'm probably remembering it wrong but I thought GB said that the club/SW had a shortlist of managers or maybe even interviewed some of them and then he came in, saw the list (rubbished it basically) and put JDT's name forward. Goes without saying that a big improvement is needed in the second half. I though we actually started pretty well, getting the ball forward quickly, even taking quick throw ins to keep the momentum going. We got worse as the half went on and looked to starting putting it back together towards the end.

We've been absolutely woeful with attacking and defending set pieces for the last 5 seasons (at least) Mulgrew for a couple of seasons is about as good as we've been. But generally, free kicks and corners have been dire. So, good to see we will pay some attention to set pieces for a change.
