  1. How have we looked so far? Must be an improvement on Tuesday?
  2. Fleck makes his debut. Interesting, as I'm sure someone said he wouldn't be ready till the international break? Dolan the only "young" player in there. Plenty of experience and the average age must be up significantly on recent times.
  3. Although unlikely, he needs to pull a win out today. The Birmingham result/performance drained anything remotely positive from the Stoke victory. Needs to get us going, we desperately need points on the board. Huddersfield have appointed a new gaffer and the write up I read about him, he seemed a decent appointment.
  4. Was just about to write the same thing. Definitely into the poor bracket. After his initial impact he's done absolutely naff all for a while now.
  5. I'm not disagreeing with the predictions of a defeat but Jesus wept, look at what these cretins have done to us. Rovers fans predicting 4-1 and 5-1 defeats against Preston. VenkysOut
  6. Nar, my memory is abysmal. There is a good chance I've remembered incorrectly. It was more than 5 minutes ago, so chances are I don't remember it correctly at all.
  7. Sounds like a good way to end up in prison. Any potential claims against the club through injury (or worse) due to negligence of maintenance would outweigh any grant given by the council, you would think. Doesn't surprise me with the clowns we've had in senior positions in the psst tbh.
  8. I'm probably remembering it wrong but I thought GB said that the club/SW had a shortlist of managers or maybe even interviewed some of them and then he came in, saw the list (rubbished it basically) and put JDT's name forward. I'm sure he said or heavily implied that he was the man to bring JDT to the club in one of his interviews.
  9. Literally impossible to predict. Jury is obviously out on Eustace and he's only been here 5 minutes but we have to put in an improved performance from yesterday. Not just from the players but the manager needs to sort out these tactics as we can't just continously lump it forward to no one (or Gallagher to lose the aerial battle) Can stick with a back 3 if he wants to, bring Fleck in (if fit) move JRC to RWB. Options are limited because recruitment is abysmal.
  10. Clearly, we can't go in with that same gameplay for the rest of the season. I'm clinging to the hope that he's 3 days in and given a bit more time, he'll have us set up better. Birmingham fans have spoken positively about him, they can't have played like that every week, surely?
  11. Yeah, it was awful. I just answered your question dude. Nothing more. 🤷‍♂️
  12. We had 43% possession in the first half (according to a Rovers account on Twitter)
  13. It's quite an effort to have assembled a team of professional footballers who have such a poor first touch.
  14. Goes without saying that a big improvement is needed in the second half. I though we actually started pretty well, getting the ball forward quickly, even taking quick throw ins to keep the momentum going. We got worse as the half went on and looked to starting putting it back together towards the end.
  15. Can't imagine we will change it up too much from Saturday. I'd expect the same lineup, assuming McFadzean is up to another game in quick succession, same goes for Hedges as well.
  16. We've been absolutely woeful with attacking and defending set pieces for the last 5 seasons (at least) Mulgrew for a couple of seasons is about as good as we've been. But generally, free kicks and corners have been dire. So, good to see we will pay some attention to set pieces for a change.
