  1. Sorry but that is absolute tosh. The Club have meaningfully engaged with us. It is a fan led proposal the same as the ‘Fans Takeover’ for the Watford game. The Club 100% want Safe Standing; this is consultation to find the view of the fans. The main issues are: do the fans want it; where will it go; consultation with existing ST holders*; and paying for it. The positive thing is that the Club are meaningfully engaging with ‘We Are The Rovers’ and the Fans Forum. We are starting to make a difference and personally I will grab every opportunity to make Ewood a more exciting and enjoyable place to attend for all fans and our local communities. When it comes to the shirt design consultation they have listened….watch this space when next seasons shirts are released. * the survey was structured so we can have an idea from existing ST holders who respond whether they support Safe Standing or not.

  3. First time been on this site for yonks (too many loons). Abbey is on www.roversfans.com bye bye
  4. Do you have a fundraising page Duncan? You should beat that Labour Crankie woman Kate thingy easy. Duncan Miller.....MP for Blackburn.
  5. Very well done John Murray / mhead. You did the Trust and the fans proud.
  6. Well done Steven. TheTrust is now more important than ever.
  7. Well done to Michael and The Trust. Can Oldjamfan do a spell and grammar check on the news story please.
  8. I was testing the BRFCS readership
  9. Poor use of language also puts people off. An example is CV's; I would, and do, relegate any CV to the bottom of the pile if it included spelling mistakes and poor grammar. These are CV's for professional roles by the way.
  10. Yep....beach bums, the lot of them. Senior is doing the Punch & Judy Show. Cheston is trying to sell deck chairs (season tickets) on the Titanic.
  11. The CT do some fantastic work. I am unsure of the funding but I hope they survive.
  12. Excellent Mr Doherty and the Rovers Trust.
  13. Bowyer / Lambert / Mowbray........who is the next no hoper going to be?
  14. Wish I had gone......totally forgot about it. Well done again to the <23's.
  15. Wigan won 3-2. We are in even bigger trouble.
  16. The wife is from Cas and is a Cas fan!! She is mild mannered and speaks posh, indeed she now sounds like she is from the Ribble Valley.
  17. I agree with you re Dunn. Saunders may well be able to step up, however I was more alluding to the <21's players and them being able to step up. They will have to step up sometime (maybe not with Rovers with the rumours that PNE are looking to poach / sign a few) and given their enthusiasm I would suggest now is the time.
  18. Spot on Barry. We are approaching the point of no return and we must do something different.
  19. If you watched the youngsters at Ewood last night they had these basics off to a tee. It sounds a wee bit like the blame game to me.
  20. 2-1 we could not do worse than base the team on Friday on the one that played tonight.
  21. 2-0 two good goals from Stokes
  22. A cracking first half (0-0) of football which was shaded by Rovers. We hit the inside of the bar and it came down onto the line and both Willem Tomlinson and Anthony Stokes has brilliant shots saved. Tomlinson and Elliot Ward were stand out players for me. Tomlinson is as hard as nails and has good position and distribution. Raya did not have a save to make although he was chivvying the outfield players all game, his distribution was excellent. Probably one of the most enjoyable games I have seen at Rovers for some time. It will be interesting to see away the other PB (Parson) has to say.
  23. Tell the plumber to hurry up Paul. Is it your ballcock?! In a strange way I am looking forward to seeing some 'honest' football if that is the right word.
