  1. Past hour
  2. Don't forget we were a comfortable Premier league team. This stadium was built for Premier League status not league 1
  3. He'd always start for me over Ribeiro, but Cashin has done enough over the last couple of games to keep his place. Backed up by the lack of comments about Cashin "having to play".
  4. https://www.getfootballnewsgermany.com/2025/st-pauli-prepare-to-shop-disaffected-bible-quoting-english-striker-oladapo-afolayan/ Not saying it would be a bad signing in isolation but it seems his club is desperate to get rid and his contract is expiring at the end of the season. Should be a cheap and easy deal to get over the line so why wait until the end of the transfer window?
  5. The fact that he is still the best lb at the club over Dr Neve, Ribeiro and Cashin days it all I don't think they sell and I think he starts on Tuesday along with Carter
  6. Dont forget dismantling the Ladies team which would have cost as much to run "professionally" as Dion De Never.
  7. Said this a while ago the team is set up to carry Cantwell and it hasn't worked for ages he's a luxury player not a cog in a well drilled system.
  8. We'll beat them. Not sure where any other wins are coming from though. Out of the bottom 3 when/if we do, they will be spinning the fuck out of it.
  9. I don't rate Pickering at all. But the fact it's seen as a terrible decision just shows how shit his squad is.
  10. Article this morning in the Guardian shows that there are eyes upon our predicament outside of Ewood Park, and that there is genuine concern in the game that something foul has been foisted upon our club in its 'celebratory' 150th year. Read it and weep (Rovers fans) Read it and gloat (Dingle scum) Read it, reflect and feck off! (Pasha, Gestede, Rao family etc) https://www.theguardian.com/football/2026/feb/01/blackburn-rovers-championship-valerien-ismael Let's build from here...

  12. We won't beat Sheff Wed. A draw at best and we'll have to come from behind to get it. Venky's have plenty more humiliation for Rovers fans on the horizon and giving Sheff Wed their 2nd win of the season will be next.
  13. I don’t think it will be easier to run a league 1 team for them. For one - any shortfall in the playing staff wages cannot be made up by directors loans. They must actually lose cash. They run rules similar to the EPL - called SCMP
  14. An oldie from @4,000 Holes Evergreen…😆
  15. I had a thought yesterday in the Riverside when De Neve ran out of play, I pay my hard earned money for this shit willingly. I scoff like many other people at hobbies people have, but I think those blokes paying to be kicked in the bollocks makes more sense these days.
  16. That'll be another clanger like "wE didn't ThInK yoU could get rEleGatEd"
  17. Think you're right about Cantwell, but making him captain is maybe proving to be a problem. He undoubtedly played when he wasn't fully fit, but playing unfit has seen a drop in performance. It would now mean dropping not only the "most influential" player, but captain as well. Now would be a good time to rest Cantwell and give the captaincy to Tronstad or Mclaughlin for the rest of the season, they're both going to play every game, giving Ismael more licence to rotate Cantwell. Thought Forshaw was our best player first half.
  18. Pickering should be our starting left back. Bonkers to let him go to a relegation rival
  19. Only Pasha would push one of our most reliable players out to a relegation rival, to save a few quid !
  20. No. A grenade. Or is that too much
  21. I'm not a fan. In my humble opinion the swagger is totally unjustified. Would swap him for Rothwell all day every day without blinking.
  22. The Impressions - Keep On Pushing
  23. If it’s anything like previous contracts (specifically Kean rather than Berg) there will be a clause in that it’s 12 months pay out.
  24. Today
  25. You clearly misunderstand my post, I make the point that he has had a lot to contend with but that we were in the play offs when he arrived and that this time to make a change. Ismael has failed badly on the only metric that should matter, results on the pitch.
