  1. Past hour
  2. Now he's a good player! No chance he comes to us.
  3. bensons harem,he`s got a lot of young lads in the goalkeeping dept
  4. We are going Marvel. Link on X saying we have been offered Antman
  5. The last Euros was a bit out of the ordinary based on who we played by seedings. No pot 1 or 2 teams until the final. First time it’s happened since the euros were expanded. Remember those seedings are based on results / merit. The other argument is based on what you define as lucky. Just because the ties in later rounds are based on results in that tournament, it doesn’t mean you can’t get β€˜softer’ ties. Take a random cup upset. In 2011 Stevenage (4th tier) beat Premier League Newcastle. You could have played that tie 10 times and 9 times Newcastle would probably have gone through. In the next round Reading drew Stevenage and Reading won comfortably. Reading definitely got a softer tie against Stevenage than they would have had against Newcastle. Were they β€œlucky” they benefited from the earlier upset?
  6. I think someone said they were just kept on because the lads need someone to stand in the goal in training and occasionally try and save one.
  7. Fair point although he'd proven himself a lot better previously but i'm sure there are a few out there have seen enough of Pears to think they can do something with him. For the right deal obviously.
  8. I wouldn't end up being surprised to be honest given our 1st team keepers for the last few years? Pears - Who knows? Kaminiski - Played Regular Premier league fooball season before last Walton - Played Premier league football (only a bit) last season Steel - 1st choice GK for a Premier league team season before last Raya - 1st choice GK in a Champions League team. I think I missed one between Raya and Steel, but still. If I played GK for Rovers I would buy Lotto tickets.
  9. The claim that Dolan was offered a new deal months ago simply doesn't tally with everything else that we've seen occur, and with what other senior players have publicly admitted. So unless they've made an exception for Dolan I know my money is on him getting the same treatment as everyone else - no offer worthy of consideration.
  10. I thought he'd had a contract offer on the table for months? Mental
  11. barrett and goddard are in their twenties and between them hav`nt played a first team game in the football league, thats tell us all both of them ar`nt very good, more evidence that the club is a farce when we`ve given both of them extended contracts😦 i think pears will be sold, can see michalski being toths understudy this year, thats if we don`t sell him at the first enquiry
  12. I stopped regularly buying football kits to wear when I stopped playing in my 40’s. I’d have bought this one to help the club if had been quartered properly. I may get one for my grandson if he likes it more than I do. I bought that 1960’s one that Herbies was selling on this site to wear when walking out in rural Spain. Now that is a cracking shirt that any Rovers fan could be proud of.
  13. Loosest ever application of the word "prime", there!
  14. There is no latest on Dolan as his contract isn't up until 30-06-2025. Just Jackson selling another story.
  15. With Scott Carson leaving City, maybe they'll want to fill the void with Pears..... I've no idea if any of our reserve keepers are remotely good but I can't see Pears wanting a full season playing second fiddle, can't blame him either at 27 he's in his prime.
  16. Today
  17. I didn't have a middle age spread then thought!
  18. I think so to lol he doesn't look happy
  19. I still randomly expect Pears to move over to the MLS at some stage, I think his Mrs is from that side of the pond
  20. When Rovers might get some clarity? See the blame the players narrative is well underway.
  21. Doesn't matter if you aren't spending more than 10% of it.
  22. Definitely a Rangers fan on his stag do I would say
  23. Cue the wails of '...but that's the modern game...' from those amongst us who also see no issue with all manner of random kick off times, because they can get to every home game no matter what.
  24. I wouldn't mind Crewe away, as I have never been to their ground.
  25. A resounding success means he would have won something?
