When they’ve done reduced price tickets previously, they’ve copped some flak for undermining the value of a season ticket. I suspect what they are doing here is trying to compensate for that by saying the offer is only open to s/t holders so it’s a benefit to them alone & they can bring someone of their choosing. If it was £10 ticket to anyone, then the s/t offer is undermined more than it is by doing it this way. It’s a bit like having a finite number of guest passes to the gym for your mates. The hope is that you bring your mate, they like it & sign up. You’re happy because your mate now goes to the same gym, they’re happy because they got a free visit or two & the gym is happy because they’ve acquired a new customer. It’s that principle.

Championship Season 25-26

I thought I read 15 points somewhere. They aren't in good form but playoffs could be option if they turn that around. I think he is good coach but he needs the chance to bring in his own players. Need a quality striker in that team -

Because you keep parroting about it being a overhaul. So I am trying to gauge whether you think a lower finish is down to us simply having a poorer squad. Or if its mainly just down to the level of change and once theyve settled we will kick on and return to challenging towards the play offs. -

Do the away fans go to home games or is at a case of boycott? They seems more vocal than the home fans/support. We would need them on Tuesday for sure. -

When you such an overhaul like we did, you expected a drop off at the start as new players settle in, understand the tactics and settle in a new area to live, etc. not sure what you are going on about "some sort of positive project"? maybe he is the ignore list just a thought like I said in previous points, some signings haven't been good enough but some have been. good enough been McLoughlin, Miller, Gudjohnsen, Alebiosu, TGH, Morishita not good so far been Tavares, De Neve, Henriksson too soon to judge Baradji -

We had a guy called Stan Milburn coaching our works team. Jackie Milburn’s brother and Bobby Charlton’s uncle. 587 league games and an England “ B “ international right back. I was playing full back at the time and he helped me a lot with positional play etc. His advice in a situation like that one yesterday were you had to crowd an opponent was - “ Get close enough so your opponent hasn’t enough space to turn with the ball but not that close that he can roll you “ . Or as in yesterday example “ buy a free kick.” Certainly don’t crash into the back of him. -

It's the age old problem of players not managing their actions to the circumstances. Under Sparky I remember Lucas Neill being sent off for a second bookable offence. It was a soft second booking for a challenge in the centre circle. When Sparky was interviewed afterwards he blamed Neill entirely for giving the referee a decision to make when there was no need to. Ditto Hedges yesterday. -

Problem I have with this is just an excuse VI is blaming the ref because of a free kick that then led to a goal which they scored its a tenuous link to blame others 90mins and we are 1-0 up why isn’t he coaching the players to manage the time Rather than blame others or make excuses he needs to accept responsibility shocking subs, poor tactics, we should have scored 2 or 3 but we didn’t, that is on us, however we were 1-0 until 94mins and then give an opportunity for a foul in our half, that is unacceptable- it’s poor game management which is entirely the fault of the coach and players lets not get all upset about a free kick when there are things within our control that we should have been doing, hoofing it to row z for example and kicking into their corner flag instead our players are coached in a way that ends up meaning we have conceded 5 goals after 90mins this season, that is entirely on the coach and the players not the ref That’s not even considering how the quality of our players is so poor, we have players from the second division in Switzerland playing for us it’s a joke, dont even get me started on them lot upstairs!!! -

Personally think most linesman would flag for that - despite it barely being a foul. It's on Hedges for me. Stupidity, overeagerness whatever it is it was costly. - Today

I thought the referee was very good yesterday and, following the standards he had set, would not have judged that to be a foul. Once the linesman had unnecessarily flagged the referee had little option but to award it -

Again, i don't think even they are stupid enough to think this will attract floating supporters they very rarely do anything to do that anyway. This is a desperate punt to try and get a normal level gate for an extra un-budgeted for replay. Almost like a cup game. Most important thing here is try and get the 3 points back we were robbed of and everyone should come together for that. If as many ST holders as possible made an effort to bring someone - wife, partner, brother, father, uncle, bit on the side, someone you've press ganged off the street - then a better crowd makes a better atmosphere and 'should' help the team. Stick it up Ipswich bollocks to the rest of the stuff for one night.

The referee for the abandoned match was Stephen Martin. For Tuesday's match he is the fourth official as he was for Ipswich's match on Friday night. Given Ismael said he wasn't consulted about the abandonment but the official line was that he was it seems daft to me to have Martin stood in the technical area for nigh on two hours. Poor appointing in my view.
