  1. Past hour
  2. Although tbf last season he was coming off the back of a bad injury so it could explain his poor form at Blackpool.
  3. This would be my team: GK: Toth RB: Alebiosu CB: O'Riordan CB: Cashin LB: Pickering DM: Tronstad CM: Baradji CM: Cantwell RW: Jorgensen LW: De Neve AT: Ohashi I wouldn't be against Atcheson replacing O'Riordan or McLoughlin replacing Cashin. Call me crazy but I also wouldn't be against playing Forshaw ahead of Baradji but that's just because I think Baradji has been poor and Forshaw is more consistent even if his ability is more restricted. The only reason i'd play De Neve is because Pickering is covering so he can just be more attacking and not focus on defending.
  4. Dom Ballard is having a good season with 15 league goals in 20 appearances but he struggled last season with 3 in 35 when he was at Blackpool. Young player so would be a gamble.
  5. Screams Coventry/Boro loan with option to buy if they go up.
  6. Today
  7. The next edition of FM needs to give him a 1 out of 20 for positioning. And that's only because it doesn't do 0s.

  9. Walker Brothers - Make It Easy On Yourself
  10. They were just suggested by fans in the LT. Not linked.
  11. What I and many others have said for years. If you want to talk about "natural levels", this is it. Just out of curiosity, is there one that shows where we were pre venkys? Also, good to see the dingles at the bottom of the table, their natural level.
  12. That room is s total time warp!!
  13. 1928 FA Cup Final - The last time we won the best domestic cup competition in the world.
  14. He completed full 90 minutes in the final group stage match about 3 weeks ago.
  15. Should of told them before they sign, you aren't allowed to touch anyone, look at anyone or breathe on any9ne in the Championship. "Oh why is that?" They'll go down like they've been shot, you'll get a Red card and they'll get a penalty.
  16. Seen the game now. Biggest difference between the sides apart from individual quality? The answer would be: intensity. We looked miles off it and could've easily conceded more than three to be honest. Toth (6) - pulled off a nice save from Egeli at the start of game. Should've done better for the second goal. Played sweeper keeper in second half and made some good interceptions. Atcheson (6) - tough to criticise the young lad as he's been thrown into a team who's struggling. Looks a promising talent and is quite comfortable on the ball. McLoughlin (5) - has been a disappointment all season. Doesn't possess leadership qualities needed to organise a young central defence. Cashin (0) - an absolute joke of a footballer. Reminds me a bit of JRC at times; same type of boots, lacks game intelligence and overall just poor positioning and movement. Great finish for the own goal; you can see on the replay that he checks behind his back twice before ball is played into the box and despite seeing De Neve being level with the opponent, he still doesn't trust him enough to let the ball run across goal. We'll quickly become relegated if he has a clause in his contract regarding playing time. De Neve (2) - has a bit of pace but that's it. Positional awareness for the third goal is a joke as well. TGH (3) - looked lost playing at right wing back. Tronstad (5) - best performer of the midfield three but struggled with the intensity of the game. Baradji (4) - poor. Looks nonchalant and disinterested. No urgency both in- and out of possession. Feels like he can do so much better but needs someone to get him fired up badly. Cantwell (3) - disastrous performance. If he's going to behave and play like that, then you might as well strip him off the captaincy armband right now. Poor set pieces, doesn't track back properly and sloppy in possession. Henriksson (2) - sorry to say it but this was a bad transfer move from the club's perspective. Looks overwhelmed by the intensity of the league and doesn't possess any technical quality that allows him to compete at this level. Ohashi (5) - same type of performance as usual. Pressing game is good but he's annoyingly ineffective in- and around the box. Doesn't have enough pace to play on the last man and can't compete in the air. Roughly speaking, he's doesn't possess any qualities that enables him to be competitive as the main striker for a Championship side. Subs: Jorgensen (5) - had one decent move in behind opposition defence and looked threatening on that occasion. Otherwise quite anonymous and didn't see much of the ball. Forshaw, Doherty (N/A)
  17. I think most of us would snap your arm off if the JW trust was offered to us.
  18. These were one of the worst teams to come to Ewood this season yet somehow came away with the 3 points. We concede so many soft goals! Given the state of the squad and form a point would be amazing.
  19. Scott Walker - The Old Man's Back Again
  20. He was always down to play at that time but he rarely did! Got extra spectators in though!
  21. I watched my first game in 1952 aged 2 so remember nothing of it! My Grandad, Dad and Uncle were all at the 1928 Cup Final. I had a season ticket from age of 5 in the Nuttall St Stand. My Dad stopped going after the 1960 Cup Final fiasco but I continued. In all those years since I have never felt so bad about Rovers state as I do now. The Venkys have no clue about our culture and the memories and dreams that they are destroying. EDdit: Sorry --got this wrong. First game 1949!
  22. What stuck me about the Man United win was just how pedestrian the two City full backs were. City were wide open at the back because those two CMs masquerading as FBs got absolutely rinsed time and again.
