  1. Past hour
  2. Well he's fit now and he cost us nothing but hey why keep an instinctive developing young forward on peanuts when you can get rid and bring in an AI stats signing.
  3. We had him around. He was hardly ever out of the treatment room.
  4. What i gleaned from today more than anything is there are no goals in our young forwards who all struggled with the step up despite working hard. I fear they like a lot of others are being judged on running stats rather than footballing ability. Now if only we had a lad around the place like that young Leonard at Peterbrough !
  5. Just watched the “ highlights “ . The breakaway towards the end were Baradji plays in the young winger. The kid seems to be trying to set himself up for a left foot shot when it’s crying out for a right foot shot. These “ inverted wingers “ are doing my head in.
  6. Maybe it's because they have to bypass those in the middle who filter information back to India to serve their own purposes.
  7. Today
  8. I thought he was off corrie 🤣
  9. I think I went down by the special train they put on for that one. I remember getting ready to leave when we pulled a goal back only for Derby to go up the other end and score another. Another Rovers team that lacked a decent striker.
  10. A poor game but it was good to see the youngsters come in and do a decent job. Another impressive performance from Baradji who looks a class act. With a busy month ahead I thought Val did the right thing in resting players. The one good thing is the QPR game should now be a 3.00pm kick-off - at least until Sky get their hands on it.
  11. The Kills - Fried My Little Brains
  12. Sometimes I think I watch a different game to some on this board. Baradji is a quality footballer who is getting to grips with recovering from injury and playing with some of the dross we signed in the summer. If he is being made permanent then bravo to whoever is making that decision.
  13. Significantly for us, it has no ending either!
  14. The Five Monkeys Experiment (which apparently never actually happened…).
  15. I watched Nigeria v Algeria yesterday. It was like they were playing another sport entirely.
  16. Ismael claims he was going to come on in extra time but O’Riordan got tired.
  17. The rumour mill going around is that we've signed Baradji on a permanent, or are close to doing.
  18. What intrigues me, if that is the word, is why Tyjon is on the subs bench but doesn’t go on? Especially when we needed imagination and new energy up front in extra time. It is either financial or the club don’t want to risk an injury before he is sold. If Ishmael is being pissy with him then why is he a substitute at all? Must be some football algorithm I am blissfully unaware of.
  19. We got Baradji fit ( another poster mentioned this earlier) probably for another club next season !
  20. He is no good , he will take us down ! It is how he leaves ? , that is the question, for me !
  21. Some interesting comments about Baradji, he definitely is a strange player to get a grasp on. He does some things that make him a liability, really lazy and/or sloppy play, examples being giving the ball away needlessly in front of his own box today, once or twice v Wednesday he just gave up tracking back. But equally, unlike most he actually has some ability and can make things happen. Obviously he got the 2 goals in the last game, he showed one bit of quality today on the counter, a really well timed pass through to Doherty who ended up wasting a really good chance. He also has the ability to do a turn and seems to pick up a bit of pace to power past people. Definitely something to work with but not sure if he is fully trustworthy. Compare to Henriksson who is always looking at pelt and there are absolutely no glimmers of anything to work with in terms of ability, making him useless to us.
  22. Just need a laptop malfunction at one minute to midnight to finish it off properly. "Its understood Rovers are going to appeal."
  23. Mowbary had to work for that budget. He had to fly to prune and get on his knees like vegrant. And it worked. He has the luxury few have. He somehow had money to buy Downing to watch on the sideline, his old mates kid Ansley for £500,000. Gally for £7 million, Diaz for £7 million to play for the. 21s. Mowbary was backed to a level we will never see again. JDT either had too much trust in the Egg or too much pride to beg the owners for money. Eustace too…seems and manager that wants any funding is required to go to India, kids arse, and remind the owners they own a football club.
