The January 2026 Transfer Window
Rover down South replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I do agree with you. I was furious with Kargbo that day and was one of many on here having a go, but I feel there is some ability there somewhere and the right manager could unlock it. The others you've mentioned just aren't Championship quality. I think I've played against better players than De Neve at an amateur level. -
I didn't bite as I thought that's where he was heading. (on the pitch)

We have signed a lot of crap from lesser leagues that you would think would be desperate to make a name for themselves. Baradji falls into the same category. More ability than the others but no sign of desperation to give his all and really show what hes about. -
The January 2026 Transfer Window
G Somerset Rover replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
The likes of Mowbray and Eustace in the main, liked signing men. Players who would give their all and work their nuts off for each other. We're now signing the likes of Kargbo (no way was he a JE choice - he'd fully checked out by then) and De Neve who can't even be arsed tracking back when they lose the ball. -

In recent years there's only been a few who have showed no care or effort: Gueye and Kargbo. Kargbo making a huge error and just jogging back and we concede. Terrible. -

I'd give Kargbo a bit longer. I know I'll be in the absolute minority here, and he hasn't been great so far, but I feel he'll improve. The others I completely agree with. Edit: Agree with RF99 on Henriksson. Awful player. -

Henriksson is right up there with the worst players that need to be binned. No one is going to want to sign these players though. -
Boycott Or Not?
SIMON GARNERS 194 replied to BRFCS.com's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
What do you think? Go on,I'll take the Bait. They are making a stand,a show of unity against these awful Owners and everything wrong down Ewood way.. Dont forget jimbo, you were advocating supporters getting on the pitch(in my day!) at one point. -

When does the window close? Think there's a huge decision to make on Valerian. If they're not getting rid, then they need to sell Ribeiro and Pickering. If they are getting rid they'll need to sell a hell of a lot of shite: Sell McLaughlin Sell Tavares Terminate Cachin loan Sell De Neve Sell Kargbo -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
JHRover replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I was interested to learn that Mark Bowen, Hughes' assistant, is now Director of Football at Forest Green Rovers, who appointed Robbie Savage in the summer. Glyn Hodges was with him at Bradford and Carlisle but left Carlisle in the summer. Eddie Niedzwiecki was at Wimbledon and Reading but not now. So yeah he's no longer got any of his gang with him and suspect he will be leaving Carlisle at or before the end of the season if they fail to get promoted. - Today

Boycott Or Not?

If people arent convinced the time to boycott is now, they never will be. The statement alone should galvanise people to revolt. Whatever it takes. Get the crooks out. -

How much of his success was down to the coaching team he had with him at Rovers. I don't think he works with any of them now. -

As it's a 3pm kick off, I hope The Coalition do have "an inside man" to get some photos/videos of the crowd (empty seats, hopefully) and also get the real attendance figure, as the clubs attendance figure will be total rubbish. -

Wing Wizard Windy Miller replied to WacoRover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
No point 'getting behind the lads' if that's the argument. Clearly the players perform better when fans aren't there. -
The fact that rovers have felt the need to release a statement, which has been picked up by various media outlets is a success in itself. The boycott alone won’t rid us of them but it’s been successful in getting the conversation going again.

Classic Jim throwing this in after weeks of discussion.

Is this pasha?

They are not mine to release, im sure more will come out reading X, The originator has obviously either trusted someone to post them or is posting them. Leaking things aint easy, so i respect his right to do what he thinks. Integrity and trust important, so it wont be me posting them

And me. And me Dad. Would have been 4 less if us 4 hadn’t gone. At least this was an era when you could believe the attendance. -

WacoRover replied to WacoRover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Well, misery loves company. I have one team- Blackburn Rovers. I have to keep up with them. I live in Texas, so I don’t know what that is, but it’s not a boycott. I will be here- if nothing else, but to commiserate with my own kind. Painful but I need Rovers. If they’re not any good, so be it. I know we can’t count on owners or Admin. We’ve only got one Blackburn Rovers FC. I am not there. I need to pay attention to them. No matter how horribly bad they are, or how corrupt/stupid/incompetent the owners are. -
after reading the message from rovers hierarchy( clearly printed with contempt for fans) im`e definately boycotting the game,im`e off to chorley, cmon the magpies
-
Voting with my feet, season ticket holder since 1998, showing the owners I'm sick of them taking the piss out of me. I don't care if it achieves nothing, at least I've let them know what I think of them.
